A few years ago, that sentence, like a brand, was deeply imprinted on her chest, constantly reminding her.
Zackary was cruel and heartless.
Faced with her tearful accusations, Zackary found himself unable to utter a single word of rebuttal.
Every word and sentence that came out of her mouth was a test of his conscience.

Two big men confronted each other in the hotel lobby.
There was silence in the air,
Ryan took the lead and introduced himself, “I am a friend of Arabella.”
Holding Daisy tightly in his hands, he declared his sovereignty.
She spoke before Ryan could say anything. “We are about to leave, thank you for your kindness.”

Daisy didn’t look at Zackary the whole time and held onto Ryan’s neck tightly, saying, “Uncle, let’s go back to our room.
He turned his head again and casually nodded toward Zackary, saying, “Goodbye, Mr. Jefferson.”
The three words “Mr. Jefferson” deeply pierced him.
Arabella turned around and took a step, but her hand was grabbed.
“Mr. Jefferson, is there anything else?”
