The surprise of finding Anna still alive, the anger of feeling betrayed when discovering her with Kendall, all disappeared in an instant.
All that was left was a floor full of panic and helplessness.
Kendall ran out with Anna in his arms, Elijah quickly followed, and Lae Laetitia caught up with small steps.
Kendall was holding someone and couldn’t drive.
Elijah restrained the impulse to rush over and snatch Anna into his arms, and said stiffly, “Tll drive.”
Kendall gave him a cold look and then got into the car with Anna in his
arms.
The car quickly arrived at the hospital.
Anna was taken to the emergency room.
The responsible doctor frowned when he saw Anna in a coma, unable to help but ask, “Hasn’t it been a long time since she last had a seizure? What triggered it?”
Elijah followed along, listening to the doctor’s words, feeling a dull ache in his chest for a moment.
The doctor just casually asked, then hurriedly went to give Anna first aid.
After standing still for two seconds, Kendall couldn’t take it anymore. He turned around and punched Elijah hard in the face.

Elijah was knocked back a few steps, but quickly struggled to his feet and charged towards Kendall to hit him.
Unfortunately, during this period, he drank heavily, almost draining his body and losing a lot of weight.
Although he fought back, he couldn’t beat Kendall.
Kendall exercised regularly, almost always pushing himself to the limit.
The two were soon separated, forcibly dragged away by hospital staff.

The staff held onto Elijah tightly, but they did not manage to control
Kendall.
Elijah stared at Kendall intensely, “I should have known you wouldn’t give up so easily. It was you who took away my Anna…”
Kendall sneered and grabbed Elijah’s collar.
“Did I steal her? She is a person, not an object! She has her own thoughts, she won’t leave just because I tell her to. She would only leave for one reason, that is because she couldn’t bear it anymore, she was wronged!”
“Elijah, how dare you show up in front of her? Do you know how seriously Anna was injured back then? She almost didn’t wake up again!”
“After much difficulty, she finally had a smile on her face, she finally was willing to start over, why did you come back again! Why do you always linger like a ghost!”
Kendall’s words hit Elijah like stones, leaving him covered in bruises.
He trembled all over and, somewhat paranoid, said, “I already know I was

“Compensation?” Kendall looked at him coldly, “The best compensation is for you to completely disappear from her sight!”
“You’re dreaming!” Elijah didn’t hesitate to speak, staring Kendall firmly. “I know you’ve always been up to no good, but Anna is mine, only mine! Don’t even think about taking her away!”
The two of them locked eyes, each one trying to convey their hatred for the other through their icy stares.
Kendall told the hospital security guard, “Throw him out, don’t let him. in.”
Elijah struggled to get up, but there were many hospital security guards.
He stared fixedly in Anna’s direction, but he was still dragged out by
someone.
Elijah stared at the hospital sign, gritting his teeth, crazily wanting to rush in and stay by Anna’s side.
Soon, he nervously laughed.
“It’s okay, as long as Anna is still alive, she will come back to me sooner or later.”
“She was still alive, still alive…”
He quickly returned to the hotel.
Not long after, the subordinates sent over the latest information they had investigated about Anna.
Over the past half year, every detail of her life unfolded in front of him.

Looking at the information, she seemed to be living like a zombie during that period, looking at all the medications she took and the self–harming behaviors she engaged in over the past six months.
In these materials, the shadow of Kendall’s presence can be seen.
What’s more, there was Anna’s pain and suffering.
And all of this, he knew very well, was brought to Anna by him.
Elijah couldn’t bear to continue reading several times.
He was in so much pain that he couldn’t find a way to vent it out. He drank glass after glass of alcohol, and finally smashed the bottle, fiercely stabbing the shards into his arm.
Blood spurted out, a familiar pain struck him, and he only felt a slight relief in the inner torment.
But the crazy possessiveness towards Anna in those eyes did not diminish
at all.
