“Wrong passcode.”
Due to the failed passcode attempts in a row, Antonio wasn’t allowed to try again.
He kicked the door with a frown, thinking, “Grace went too
far. Why didn’t she tell me that she had changed the passcode?”
He still didn’t believe I would leave him for real.
After all, I was an orphan in his eyes.
“She must’ve gone to her grandma’s house!”
Antonio called a taxi and went to Fortune Village.
As expected, the yard’s lights were on.
He walked faster increasingly and began running in the end.
However, a team of workers came into view.
“Who told you to knock it down?”
Kristen was bossing them around. When she saw Antonio, she ran to hug him and said in an injured tone, “Antonio, I did. Didn’t you say you’d give it to me for compensation?”
Antonio took a step back, his eyes widening.
“When did I say you could knock it down?” He was afraid.

He knew what the house meant to me. If he let Kristen knock it down, I would never forgive him.
He looked everywhere in the house but still couldn’t find me.
Finally, Antonio’s superioritycomplex disappeared.
“Get out of here. Don’t do anything to the house, or don’t blame me!”
He looked at Kristen with cold eyes.
Why did she always make decisions for him? He couldn’t stand her anymore.
Antonio seemed to think of something, so he went back to the house we used to live in and had the lock broken.
It was empty inside.
The furniture we picked together was gone too.
He searched every room like crazy, only to find nothing.
In the empty living room, he remembered the days before we moved in. We paid attention to every detail when decorating
- it.
“This will be our living room. I want a warm beige sofa and a thick carpet on the ground. When our baby is born, she can crawl around in the living room.”
“I prefer warm lights for our bedroom. It should be a haven of warmth, so I hope we can shut all our worries out.”
We picked everything for the house.

“Grace and that bastard have gone. My son and I are the most important to you now.”
Antonio pushed Kristen against the wall.
“Alison is my daughter. If you call her that again, I’ll kick you out of my family’s villa!
“Besides, you know better than me how you got the baby. You were my brother’s wife. I got together with you only to maintain our two families‘ relations.”
Kristen blushed and looked at him in disbelief.
“No! We grew up together. You must love me!”

He would restore the house in the village before Grace came back.
And he was confident that he would get Grace back.
