Thinking that he was probably trying to salvage his reputation, Amanda swallowed her words and self–mockingly thought to herself.
In the end, his marriage couldn’t withstand the interests, and it’s better this way, so that each can go their own way in the future.
Calvin carefully wiped the corners of her mouth, but he did not answer the question.
