Chapter 9
Upon waking up, it was in the Kaufman’s manor.
The Kaufman family almost all came.
Valerie’s face was beaming with joy.
“Double happiness has arrived, my good child. I told you that you are blessed, and you have become pregnant so quickly.”
“The wedding matter couldn’t wait for a day. Hurry up and transfer both of my villas under my granddaughter–in–law’s name, to ensure her safe pregnancy!”
I was a bit confused by Antonio’s gentle and affectionate gaze.
He touched his stomach belatedly.
There was a new life, growing within it.
I had my own family.
And my wedding also took place in a joyful and laughter–filled atmosphere.
The Kaufman family invited celebrities from all walks of life and spared no expense to host a wedding of the century for me.
In the dressing room, my best friend looked at me, sometimes smiling with satisfaction, sometimes crying with sympathy
“Maria asked me to apologize to you, she found out about some things too
Tate.

“It’s okay, it’s all in the past.”
Those unbearable pasts have become the past.
Nowadays, we can also be considered as having gone through hardships and come out on top.
She nodded and put the veil on me, took my hand in my wedding dress. and walked towards the wedding venue.
On the way, I saw Maurice, Samson, and Brooke being stopped by bodyguards.
They fought with the bodyguards, getting beaten up so badly that they didn’t want to leave with their faces swollen and bruised.
Upon seeing me, they suddenly lit up their dim eyes.
“Grace!”
“Grace.”
“Grace, you couldn’t marry him, we all knew it was wrong. Amanda was the one who was two–faced.”
Childhood sweethearts for twenty years, it was only after I left that I realized how good I was.
How absurd and ridiculous it was.
I did not respond.
The usually arrogant Maurice was crying with his head in his hands in front of me.
“Grace, did you forget about our past?”
Samson red–eyed, “Grace, you left so decisively, not even taking a single piece of clothing or item with you.”
“The oil paintings in the villa were gone, we no longer had roses planted for you, and everything of yours was also gone. For a whole twenty years. except for memories, you surprisingly didn’t leave anything behind.”
I had been taking care of the roses in the villa for several years, and they were almost becoming the bouquet for the wedding.
Unfortunately, it was just a little bit short.
The music of the wedding played, masking the cries of Maurice, Samson,
and Brooke.
My best friend signaled the bodyguard to drag them away.
Samson, however, didn’t know where the strength came from and rushed forward.
He knelt in front of me, holding a stone, and fiercely smashed it down on his own leg.
I took a deep breath in shock, but he seemed unaffected, smiling at me.
“Grace, don’t be angry, okay? As long as you can forgive me, I can do anything…
I looked at his bloody leg and sighed slightly,
“Maurice, Samson, and Samson, it was you who taught me that all offorts are meaningless in front of someone who doesn’t love you.“.
“I’m getting married, and from then on, I’ll stay in Boston and not rehim
to New York.”
So, I hope you will never appear in front of me again. In the future, I will be very happy, just without you, it doesn’t matter.”
The past should not always be dwelled upon.
People always have to look forward.
I gently smoothed out the wrinkles on the hem of my clothes, each time feeling like bidding farewell to the past, each time with determination and strength.
The crystal chandelier shone brightly as the crowd surged.
My gaze passed through the crowd and landed on the man beside me, his eyebrows and eyes. He was my groom, the father of my child, and most importantly, my future.
I didn’t look back anymore, because those memories that once caused me heartache have become blurry with the passage of time.
Antonio waved his hand, signaling the bodyguards to continue dragging
them out.
And I walked with determined steps, smiling as 1 approached Antonio who had been waiting for me.
Amidst the blessings of our loved ones, we tightly held hands and exchanged our vows.
Antonio lightly kissed my forehead and said, “Grace, thank you for being willing to marry me.”
Antonio’s voice was deep and full of emotion, his gaze was profound like the brightest stars in the night sky, illuminating every corner of my heart
My eyes suddenly turned red.
In fact, love words don’t need to be too long, a short sentence is enough.
Looking at my lover in front of me, I raised my hand and gently touched his eyebrows and eyes.
Once again, he leaned in for a kiss.
“Antonio, thank you for waiting for me all this time.”
I gently nestled in his arms, feeling his heartbeat.
His voice was as warm as a spring breeze, saying, “Grace, may our marriage be as free as this wind, as gentle as these clouds, until we have gray hair.”
After saying that, we smiled at each other, with only each other’s figures. in our eyes.
Amidst the applause of the guests, I believed that our love would be eternal like a fairy tale, shining like the stars, forever and ever.
