grabbed my hand. “Ashley, you did this!”
I turned my phone around, showing him the
live stream.
Comments were flying across the screen.
“Holy shit, this is juicy!”
“The CEO of Horizon Entertainment, that gold
digger who married into money? I thought he
was the one marrying in, now he wants to
take everything?”
“Wait, am I the only one who noticed the
woman in the video is Chloe, who just
debuted tonight?!!!

Mark’s strength seemed to drain away, and
he slumped to the floor.
“Ashley,” he croaked, “I lost.”
Meanwhile, at the talent show’s live finale,
where the final rankings were being
announced.
The audience suddenly erupted in commotion.
“Look at Horizon’s official live stream!”
“The CEO caught cheating, oh my god, this is
insane!”
Chloe, with her meticulously applied makeup,
looked stunned as her name was called for
the top spot.
Sticking to her innocent persona, she cried
prettily.
“I’m able to be here today because of
everyone who supported my dream…”
Someone yelled, “Homewrecker!”
Then all hell broke loose.
“Shameless bitch, you got here by sleeping
your way to the top!”
The production crew rushed to pull her off
stage, announcing a temporary suspension of
the show.
But it was too late.
An obsessive male fan, unable to accept
being deceived, rushed onto the stage with a
knife and slashed Chloe across the face!
