It was just an act. Aliana wasn’t pregnant or weak at all.
She used it as an excuse to drive a wedge between me and Dominik.
How ridiculous; he actually fell for it.

The private investigator tracked down the truck driver from all those years
ago.
The driver finally told the truth after certain things the private investigator did to him.
Sure enough, it wasn’t an accident. Someone paid the driver a great sum of money to get him to do it.
The driver didn’t know who the person was, but he told us something.
When paying him, the person was wearing a mask and a hat, but the driver saw a red birthmark near the person’s ear.
I knew very well that my uncle’s driver happened to have a birthmark at that precise location. Immediately, I knew the real reason behind all this.
I was no match for Aliana and her family, and Dominik was the only one. who could help me.
It was time to let him know the truth.

With greater hope came greater disappointment. I was sure he wouldn’t let me down.
As expected, his retaliation was swift and brutal. He started with the Foster Group.
Led by my dad, the Foster Group was able to compete with the Schwartz Group; it was too bad that my dad became a vegetable due to my uncle’s schemes.
My uncle didn’t have talent in business at all; during the last ten years, the Foster Group had been doing worse.
Dominik dealt with the Foster Group easily. Soon, my uncle was arrested for tax evasion, bribery, and other charges
The day the cops took him away, Aliana went to Dominik and my home.
Supporting her belly, she cried pitifully.
Standing next to the window, I watched as she begged Dominik.
She didn’t know he had known the truth and still tried to win him back. with the baby, but he then kicked her away mercilessly.
She lay on the floor while spitting out a mouthful of blood, still trying to reach out for his pant leg to beg for mercy.
I turned around and walked away.
Downstairs, Dominik looked at her coldly. “Aliana, you know exactly Why I indulged you all this time. How dare you lie to me, saying you were pregnant? You really think I’m going to let you off?”

“Dominik, I know I was wrong. Please, give me a chance, for Tyler’s sake. at least. Or he won’t rest in peace. I promise that I won’t lie to you again. I’ll get pregnant!”
“You aren’t the only woman who can get pregnant in this world. Tyler loved you; that’s the only reason I chose you. I wanted to give him a chance. Don’t foolishly think you mean something special to me. Aliana, you buried your own future,” he said coldly.
I didn’t know what they said after that; I only heard from Donna that Aliana ended up with broken legs and ribs, and she could never get pregnant again.
Of course, it was Dominik who did this to her.
I never realized how ruthless Dominik was until I learned about her
miserable situation.
She was the one he loved, and he did this to her. What about me? He didn’t love me at all.
It was my decision to get an abortion, and Aliana had nothing to do with it. If he knew this, what would he do to me?
I supposed I’d probably end up the same as her.
I couldn’t help but shiver.
Now that I had avenged my dad, it was time to find a way out.
