Chapter 10 Leading the Cyberbullying
Half an hour later, Yolanda, covered in ink, appeared in the inpatient department. As doctors and nurses glanced at her in surprise, she walked straight to the VIP section on the eighth floor.
Yolandapushed open the door to Jaslyn’sroom, only to find her lying on the bed, playing onher phone. Jaslynwas laughing as she must have seen something amusing.
Yolandastrode in, and Jaslyninstinctively turned to look, her smile still lingering.
“Yolanda, what’s going on with you…?”
Without saying a word, Yolandapicked up a bottle of ink and hurled it at her.
But in the next moment, Antwan, who was sitting by the bed, leaned forward to block the ink. The bottle hit his back, staining his white shirt black.
“Ah!” Jaslynexclaimed in surprise.
Antwanturned angrily. “What the hell is wrong with you? You…”
Only then did he notice the ink on Yolanda’s clothes and froze for a moment. “What happened to you?”
Yolandawas gasping for breath, her chest tight, her nose swollen and teary.
She rarely lost composureand got this angry.

Security! Security!”
The voice came from Jaslyn’s phone, where she had just seen the video of Yolanda being splashed with ink byone ofher fans.
Antwanalso saw the video.
He furrowed his brows. “Some fans are indeed irrational, but it’s not like Jaslyntold them to do that. Be reasonable!”
“Reasonable?” Yolanda sneered.
“So, in the end, you are saying that I am beingunreasonable?
“The video was edited; it’s clearly leading the narrative. Don’t tell me that it wasn’t her team behind it! And what about the rumors about me seducing you? Why hasn’t she clarified those? I’ve been attacked by her fans! Isn’t that her fault?” Yolanda shouted, losing control.
“I’ve said it before, you’re not a celebrity. So what if people insult you online? It won’t affect you!” Antwanfrowned.
“Why should I endure her insults?”
“Because I said so! You have to take them!”
“Antwan!” Yolanda yelledas a tearfell. “My biggest mistake was getting involved with you in the first place!”
Antwanfroze when he saw Yolanda cry. Hethen kicked the chair behind him in frustration.
“Mistake? Yes, it certainly was a mistake.”
Yolanda had only shed onesingletear, out ofsheeranger.
She took a deep breath and then turned to Jaslyn.

“I want you to clear this up as soon as possible and restore my reputation. If you refuse, I’ll clear it up myself. If I say something else and cause a media stir, don’t blame me.”
With that, Yolanda turned and walked out.
“Yolanda!” Jaslyncalled after her urgently. “I’ll apologize on behalf of the fans. Can we just let this go?”
“Can we just let this go?” Yolanda sneered coldly. “I’m not your simp!It’s not that easy toget away!”
Yolanda walked out with big strides, and Antwanfollowed her.
“A simp? Who are you talking about?”
“You!”
“Yolanda, you…”
Yolanda suddenly stopped, turned, and faced Antwan. “Do you know what you are in my eyes right now?”
Antwansneered. “What am I?”
“You’re Jaslyn’s fiancé.”
Antwan’s smile froze. He thought she would call him a dog, a scumbag, or some other insult because she was angry.
But instead, she said calmly, “You are Jaslyn’s fiancé.”
He was no longer someone to her, but Jaslyn’s fiancé.
“So what?” he asked.
“So,” Yolanda took a step back and pointed out the gapbetween

them. “Don’t try to boss me around. Keep your distancefrom me, OK?”
And if that distance wasn’t enough, Yolanda took another step back, and then another, and then another…
Antwan’s eyes darkened as he watched her move further away from him until she was nearly at the other end of the hallway.
In the afternoon, Jaslynpersonally posted a response.
“Regarding what happened today, I apologize to Dr. Nielsenon behalf of my fans. I understand their feelings, but I also ask that they not fight for me. I will handle itmyself. To Dr. Nielsen, I sincerely apologize, and I hope you will accept my apology. I do not want to bring up the past. My fiancé and I have a great relationship and always have, and that is the most important thing. Wait for our wedding. Love you all.”
Kaylenread it aloud, then cursed under her breath. “What kind of clarification is this? She’s turning herself into a victim. It seems sincere, but the whole thing is about how she’s been wronged. She then showed how generous she is. She and her fiancé are still in love, unaffected by anyone!”
Kaylen, furious, almost wanted to stomp on the phone to vent her anger.
“Hey, look, she posted a picture again.”
Kaylenopened the photo and showed it to Yolanda.
In the photo, Jaslynwas sitting cross–legged on the hospital bed, with an IV needle still in her hand.
She had a tired smile on her face, holding her hands under her chin. The light was streaming in through the window, creating a halo around her.
But that wasn’t the focus of the photo. The real focus was the ink stains on her clothes and the quilt, scattered in patches.

“Yolandathe bitch, you deserve to have ink poured on you. If I were that fan, I’d pour shit all over you. What a filthy thing!”
“You failed to seduce her fiancé, so now you’re extorting money from him. After getting the money, you still act shameless!How can there be such a brazen person like you in the world?”
“Our Jaslynis beautiful and kind–hearted and hasn’t even bothered with you. Yet you splashedink on her. You’re bullying Jaslyn, and we, as herfans, will never allow this!”
“What goes around comes around. Be careful when you’re walking at night. You might fall into a shit pit!”
Yolanda remained calm, while Kaylenwas angrily punching her chest to calm herself.
“It’s infuriating. They’re bullying you!”
Yolanda, watching the so–called clarification,herphoto, and a sea of insults, remained extremely calm.
She had actually already expected that Jaslynwouldn’t easily clear her
name.
At this point, her phone rang.
Brentsent her a message.“Someone insulted me today. I insulted him back, and he wasn’t happy and insulted me again, so I beat him up. He thought this was his turf and he could do whatever he wanted, but as long as my fists are strong enough, I can make him give in.”
Yolandareadthe message with a confused expression.

But after thinking about it, she felt like he was hinting at something.
Yolandaasked, “Did you really get into a fight with someone?”
Brentreplied, “I was just expressing myself, but usually, no one dares to fight with me. I’ve been inbefore.”
Yolandawas surprised. “What?”
Brentexplained, “After I came out, no one dared to bully me again.”
Kaylenreturned and saw Yolandastill staring at her phone, lost in thought.
“Why don’t you let it go? Jaslynhas an entire team behind her, you can’t beat them.”
Yolandashook her head and opened her photo albumto look fora picture. She then logged into her account and uploaded it.
