While Sarah was analyzing the student’s situation, the counseling room door burst open.
“Sarah! Why did you do this?”
Lucy stormed in, her face flushed with anger as she thrust her phone screen in Sarah’s face.
Sarah gave her a cold glance. “I’m working!”
The student in session jumped up, startled. “Professor Shu, I’ll come back another time.”
Once they were alone, Lucy spoke through gritted teeth: “I already apologized at the party yesterday. Why did you post this on the
forum? You’re so petty, Sarah!”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Sarah dismissed her, turning back to her work.
Lucy’s face reddened further, her voice growing agitated. “Don’t play dumb. No one else knew about what happened at the party.
Who else could have posted this on the forum except you?”
Sarah glanced at the phone screen, finally understanding.
I had nothing to do with this. Before barging in here shouting accusations, find some proof that I did it. Now, get out! This is a counseling office – I don’t counsel students who throw
tantrums.”
“Too cowardly to admit what you did? You’re just doing this to get back at my brother! Let me tell you, he’ll never like someone
like you!” Lucy trembled with rage.
Sarah stood up, her eyes flashing with icy anger. “Lucy, your brother and I have nothing to do with each other. Don’t forget I still
have that video. Get out now!”

“I’m not leaving until you delete that post!” Lucy’s eyes were bloodshot as she defiantly sat
“I did it! If you have a problem, take it up with me.” A clear voice rang out as Mia rushed in, holding a stack of papers.
Sarah looked at her in confusion. “Mia?”

Mia walked up to Lucy. “Sarah didn’t do it – I posted it. Did you think you could just walk away like nothing happened after what
you
did? I want everyone to know about your awful behavior!”
“You! Mia!” Lucy’s hands shook with anger.
But Mia was the last person she dared to offend!
Why was everyone protecting Sarah? First Mia, then her brother too!
“If you don’t leave now, I’m calling
University!” Mia declared angrurity! Keep causing a scene in the counseling office and you’ll be expelled from Adams

Though she was gentle, Mia’s cheeks still turned pink.
Mia touched her check and stomped her foot indignantly. “She’s always spreading lies on the forum. I wanted her to know how it
feels!”
Sarah smiled. “Well done.”
“Sarah, did they approve the proposal?”
The proposal had been submitted early that morning. Given how seriously the school was taking this competition, approval
shouldn’t take more than a few hours.
“Yes, but we’ll need the activities department to help secure sponsorship.”
The Chancer family had sponsored previous competitions, but this year they definitely wouldn’t because of her.
“Sarah, aren’t I a big help?” Mia’s eyes curved into crescents as she smiled.
