Chapter 1
The night before our wedding. Darrell fell off a building and died.
Everyone thought I would kill myself because of my deep love for him. But I didn’t even shed a tear.
Three years later. I ran into him.
He was still alive, but he lost his memories.
“You were my fiancée? You look poor. I can let you serve me one day every week for old times‘ sake.”
I didn’t even bother to look at him.
He didn’t know that I received a video the night he fell off the building.
Besides. I got married to his older brother when he was faking amnesia and traveling around the world with Joselyn.
No one in the room noticed I was standing at the door.
Someone asked, “Darrell, it’s been 3 years. What are you gonna do with Cecelia?”
Darrell answered casually, “No rush. I’ll marry Joselyn first.”
Other people walked to him with grins.
“Cecelia got some nerve. She’ll be struck dumb when she sees Darrell.”
“I heard she had been living an awful life over the past 3 years. Without Darrell, she is no doubt a piece of trash.”
Their voices dripped with sarcasm.
Chapter 1
I was about to leave when someone saw me and called, “Cecelia??”
Everyone else turned to me.

The person who laughed loudest scratched his head with embarrassment and tried to smooth things over.
“Cecelia, Darrell is still alive, but he lost his memories. We are afraid that it’ll be too much for you to bear, so we didn’t tell you.”
I cast them a disgusted glance. Before I could respond, Darrell looked met up and down and said, “You were my fiancée? You look poor. They told me you’d been worse off without me. Is that true?”
He was still so arrogant.
But I wouldn’t put up with him anymore since my love for him had disappeared.
Getting no response from me, Darrell didn’t get angry. He held Joselyn in his arms, turning his finger over her lips.
She held his hand with a smile and looked at me with a provocative expression.
“Cecelia, what happened to you? No wonder Darrell forgot you. No one can remember such an ordinary girl like you.”
I knitted my brows and clenched my hands, feeling scorn for their cheeky confidence.
Darrell thought I was jealous, so he was smug.
“All right, don’t be jealous. If you want to go back to me, you have to accept our relationship. Rest assured. I’ll give you one day to be with met every week.”
Hearing that, the others gathered around me and gloated.
“Cecelia, you get to be with Darrell for one day every week. He is still nice to you even though he doesn’t remember you.”
“You’ll have a better life as they are satisfied with you. You must be sick of poverty. Then you have to seize the opportunity!”
Joselyn was leaning in Darrell’s arms on the sofa, with part of her legs on the table.
She grunted.
“Cecelia. I’m Darrell’s favorite now. You may feel injured, but you have no choice.”
Darrell snorted. While admiring Joselyn’s new nail paintings, he glanced at me with indifference.
“Why would she be? Since she’s so crazy about me, she should feel happy to be with me even for only one day a week.”
His words wrung my heart.
He felt like a stranger now.
But years ago, he loved me so much..
When I was spiking fevers, he left his work to give me constant care. He only cupped my face in his hands with affection and said, “I’ll be willing to die for you as long as you can be safe and healthy.”
The memories were still vivid, but the person in them had changed.
