Chapter 5
His voice was too loud, and the surroundings instantly fell silent. Everyone looked over.
The slightly tipsy Tracy smiled even more charmingly.
“Lewis, don’t worry. I know what I’m doing.”
That academic bigwig was already drunk, smiling as he said, “Mr. Mcclure is really deeply in love with you. Back then when you went abroad to study, he practically blocked the whole airport.”
Another drunk friend also laughed and said, “Of course! Lewis is famous for being a hopeless romantic. Once he falls in love, it’s like mountains. without ends and oceans without edges!”
Tracy quickly explained, “Don’t be ridiculous, everyone. I just have a bad liver, and he’s afraid I’ll get liver depression and not sleep well.”
Lewis instinctively glanced at Sienna, then at the gossiping looks around them.
He grabbed Tracy’s hand and pulled her out. “Come with me!”
Bitterness and confusion filled Sienna’s heart.
Lewis was six years older than her, always steady, able to handle anything calmly.
But she didn’t expect that even he could lose composure-
Especially when everyone was looking at her with strange eyes.

She got up and walked out of the manor.
The evening breeze was slightly cool, and the distant streetlights shone through, casting her thin shadow.
She found a corner to sit in, and when she looked up, she saw Lewis and Tracy arguing fiercely in the garden.
Lewis turned and walked off in anger, and Tracy reached out to grab him.
He flung her hand off in agitation, and Tracy stumbled. Lewis immediately caught her in his arms.
The two stared at each other affectionately–and finally kissed.
Seeing this, Sienna felt a lump in her throat.
She got up and walked toward the gate–there was no longer any reason for her to stay.
Just as she reached the entrance, a male voice sounded behind her.
“Hi, Ms. Winters.”
Sienna turned around and saw a gray–haired, mixed–race man.
He looked to be in his early 30s, with deep features and decent looks.
But his eyes revealed a hint of frivolousness.
He extended his hand. “My name is Leon, a Peruvian–American.”
Sienna didn’t shake his hand, just turned her head away.
Leon awkwardly withdrew his hand. “I’m Lewis‘ friend. It’s hard to get a taxi here—I can give you a ride.”

Sienna calmly declined. “No need. The manor has shuttle cars.”
Leon watched her graceful figure and licked his lips, showing a sinister, determined grin.
A woman who could keep Lewis hooked for five years couldn’t be ordinary.
No matter how used she was, he still wanted a taste.
Sienna felt her hair stand on end. As she got into the manor’s shuttle car, she looked up and saw Leon still staring at her with that sleazy look.
Suddenly, it was like a jolt of electricity ran through her brain–this voice, he was the man on that elevator call the other day.
A wave of nausea surged up. After giving the driver her address, she urged him to drive quickly.
Once in the car, she checked her phone–social media was blowing up.
The top three trending searches were all about Lewis, Tracy, and her.
“Lewis Throws Party for New Girlfriend’s Anniversary; His Ex Tracy Sends Blessings–Secret Garden Date Exposed!”
“Lewis‘ New Girlfriend Resembles Rising Archaeology Star Dr. Tracy Hudson by 80%!”
“Reunion After Seven Years–Lewis and Tracy Rekindled Love or Never Really Ended?!”
The attached photo–showed the two of them hand in hand in the garden.
Tracy often shared archaeological knowledge on social media, gaining at sizable following.
Chapter 5
Fans flooded the comments with blessings–some even called out Sienna, telling her to back off and stop being a shameless homewrecker.
Sienna trembled with rage.
Why should she face online attacks when she wasn’t even present?
Someone had also maliciously edited high–definition shots of her in the manor into a three–person “love triangle” montage. Furious, Sienna immediately sent a legal notice to the news outlet.
She was determined to hold them accountable for violating her portrait rights.
Within three minutes, all related photos and videos of her were taken
down.
But it was already too late–tens of thousands had downloaded them, continuing to share them in comment sections and group chats.
When Sienna got home, she was no longer angry. Seeing the countless photos of the two of them together throughout the living room, a bitter sense of helpless irony welled up.
She walked through the entire house, took down every picture frame, removed the photos, and tossed them into the fireplace.
As the flames licked up toward her eyebrows, she stared blankly for a long time.
Until the phone rang.
