One test set missing?
Sarah stared intently at the damaged safe. When she left last night, it had been securely locked, and the only key was with her.
“What do we do now, Ms. Sanders?” The student beside her was on the verge of tears.
The principal’s speech was nearly over, and it would soon be time for the judges to speak. Sarah made a quick decision. “Here’s what we’ll do–discard all these test questions.”
“Discard them?! But the test sets have already been handed to the judges. Where are we going to find a new set of questions
now?”
Sarah pulled out a USB drive. “This drive contains a completely new set of questions. Originally, I set it aside because the
difficulty level was a bit high. Now, take this and find two trusted people to help you. Make 500 copies as quickly as possible and bring them back.”
The participants were already seated, and their phones had been collected. Once the new tests were printed, they could be
distributed immediately without risk of further leaks,

The student from the planning committee and the staff had no better solution and promptly followed Sarah’s instructions.
Sarah hurried back to the auditorium. As she returned to the judges‘ table, the principal was just finishing his speech.
Next, it was Jane’s turn to speak, and the room fell silent.
“I am Jane Lawrence,” she began. “Before this, I never imagined myself as a judge for any competition. As most of you know, I
have little patience for activities that waste time or hold no value. The reason I agreed to come this time is entirely because of Ms.
Sanders. She invited me several times, and I initially refused. But then I read the essays from the students she submitted to me,
and I was blown away. Adams University truly produces remarkable talent…”
Jane proceeded to praise the authors of the essays she admired. Those students felt an even deeper sense of gratitude toward
Sarah. If it weren’t for her, Jane would never have seen their work.
Once all the speeches were finished, the host turned toward Zachary.
“This competition isn’t just about our participants and judges. We also have a very important guest with us today–the sponsor of this event, Mr. Zachary Reynolds. Let’s give him a warm welcome!”
Sarah turned her head. Zachary stood up, nodded politely at the host, then glanced in her direction.
His cool, intense gaze carried a palpable pressure, and Sarah quickly averted her eyes.
The room erupted in cheers. A man as accomplished and attractive as Zachary was naturally the secret crush of many young

The competition was divided into three rounds. With so many participants this year, the first round was a straightforward
elimination test. Contestants would answer a single set of questions consisting of ten multiple–choice items, each worth ten points. Anyone scoring below go would be eliminated.
The second round was a team competition. All advancing contestants would be placed into groups of five. A video clip would be
shown, and each team would discuss and identify the psychological issues affecting the characters in the video, along with
potential solutions. Judges would score the answers, and the top two teams would move on to the final round.
The third round was a rapid–response quiz. Contestants would answer essay–style questions, and the judges would rank them
based on their responses.
When the student council distributed the test papers to the contestants, Lucy’s eyes were sharp and predatory as she focused on the sheets. With a smug look, she shot a glance at Sarah.
But the moment Lucy saw the questions, her expression froze. She was utterly stunned. Why?!
The questions had been completely changed.
Panic washed over her as she looked helplessly at Sarah, who sat smiling serenely in return.
“Sarah…” Lucy ground her teeth and hissed the name, seething with rage.
