Chapter 19 Bianca Made a Fool of Herself
Bianca clutched the dress that had slipped down to her ankles, crouched on the floor, and screamed, “Stop looking! None of you can look!”
Bianca wasn’t as pretty as Lenora, but she had a curvy figure with big boobs, a tiny waist, and a perky butt.
She had gone all out for her dress, picking a red satin spaghetti–strap gown with ruby accents to steal the spotlight of Lenora.
So when the straps broke, the dress fell to her ankles.
Since the dress was close–fitting, Bianca wore nipple pasties and a thong to hide the outline of her underwear.
When the dress fell, the audience got an unexpected eyeful. They saw everything.
It all happened so fast that no one saw it coming.
Dane was the first to react. He rushed over and threw his jacket over Bianca.
“Bianca, it’s okay. Let me get you out of here,” Dane soothed Bianca, trying to bring her off the stage.
But she stayed crouched, tears welling up in her eyes as she looked at the guests off the stage.
The guests‘ faces showed all kinds of reactions. Apart from shock and concern, some were smirking, like they were there just for the drama.
“I didn’t expect Bianca to have such a great figure. She must drink a lot of milk,” someone amazed.
“No wonder she’s the heiress of the Finley family. Her skin is so tender and smooth,” another added.
“She always acts high and mighty, but it turns out she wears a thong in private!” someone else chimed in.
Lenora watched the scene with a cold, mocking look, feeling no sympathy
at all.
If she had fallen asleep and missed Bianca messing with her dress, it would be her making a fool of herself right now.
All those mean words would be thrown at her.
The vicious gossip completely broke Bianca down. She clutched the coat tighter, panicking.
She thought, “Wasn’t it supposed to be Liliana who had her dress slip off and made a fool of herself? Why did it happen to me instead?”
Suddenly, she remembered what Lenora had whispered in her ear earlier. With tears in her eyes, she glared at Lenora, grinding her teeth. “It was you! You messed with my dress and made me look like an idiot in public!”
“What are you talking about, Bianca?” Lenora playeddumb.
She looked worried and concerned, as if she had no idea this was happening.
“You still dare to play dumb!” Bianca stood up and lunged at Lenora, raising her hand to strike. “You bitch! You actually plotted against me! I’ll kill you!”
Lenora stepped back to dodge the slap, looking wronged and weak. “Bianca, I really didn’t…”
Bianca’s slap missed. She stumbled and almost tripped over her dress. Furious, she blurted out whatever popped into her head, “You should’ve stayed in that poor town forever. You shouldn’t have come back!”
“Bianca, stop!” Dane’s face turned stern as he grabbed her arm.
How could she say something like that?
Seth looked displeased too. “Dane, take Bianca back first.”
This was such a huge embarrassment today.
“I’m not leaving!” Bianca wailed, throwing a tantrum right there on stage, demanding justice. “Liliana made me look like a fool in public and ruined my reputation. Why are you all protecting her?”
Bianca’s sobs were gut–wrenching. What had just happened was a massive blow to a socialite like her.
Public opinion shifted fast. Many guests, especially the women who were used to these kinds of schemes, started to feel bad for Bianca. They glared at Lenora.
“She looks like a vixen and acts like one too. She used such dirty tricks on her own sister. It’s so disgusting!”
“As expected, small–town folks are no good. She’s probably jealous that Bianca lived a much better life than her for twenty years, so she schemed against Bianca.”
“I think she just feels inferior coming back from that small place and wants all the family’s attention, so she framed Bianca.”
“She seems so cold and noble on the surface, but she’s so scheming. You really can’t judge a book by its cover.”
“You don’t get it. The prettier a woman is, the more tricks she has up her sleeve.”
People were accusing Lenora with the most malicious words.
“I didn’t do it,” Lenora said, looking hurt. She clutched the hem of her dress, at a loss, like someone wrongfully accused who couldn’t prove her innocence no matter what.
“I’ve never been in Bianca’s dressing room, let alone looked at her dress. It wasn’t me,” Lenora tried to defend herself.
“You still dare to argue!” Trapped by Dane and unable to move, Biancal stomped her feet in anger, wishing she could pounce on Lenora and tear her apart.
Livia took the opportunity to rush onto the stage and stand in front of Bianca, chiming in, “Bianca has always been sincere to you. How could you do this to her!”
With that, she turned to look at Seth. “Seth, would you really trust her and give her 6% of the shares?”
Seth’s face turned ashen. For a moment, he didn’t know what to do.
In his heart, he didn’t believe Lenora would do such a thing.

But with so many people around, he couldn’t show favoritism t Lenora, or it would upset Rodney’s family.
“I believe Lenora wouldn’t do such a thing.” Cecilia’s firm voice rang out from below the stage, her eyes cold.

“Livia and Bianca keep calling Lenora a bad girl. But where’s the evidence?” Cecilia snapped.
“It happened so suddenly. How could I possibly have evidence?” Bianca shouted
Cecilia said, “If there’s no evidence, why do you blame Liliana? Maybe it was the designer’s mistake?”
“That’s impossible. My designer would never make such a rookie mistake!” Bianca denied it, determined to pin the blame on Lenora.
Bianca thought, “I made such a big fool of myself. There is no way I will let Lenora off the hook! Even if it costs my own life. I’ll take Lenora d
with me!”
“Then let’s get to the bottom of this!” Cecilia stepped onto the stage, shedding her usual gentle and kind demeanor.
She had a powerful aura and approached step by step.
Livia and Bianca unconsciously took two steps back, intimidated.

Cecilia checked the broken straps on Bianca’s dress. “The stitching came loose. The designer didn’t sew it right.
“Call your designer here right now. We’ll confront her face–to–face.”
With that, she calmly led Lenora off the stage.
The onlookers quickly made their way.
Lenora was moved to see Cecilia unconditionally believe in her. She said in a low voice, “Mom, aren’t you afraid I did something bad?”
“I’m not afraid. Even if you did, there must be a reason.” Cecilia didn’t
even look back.
Before the designer arrived, things were put on hold for the moment.
Dane dragged the unwilling Bianca off the stage.
Seth mumbled a few perfunctory words with a sullen face and then let Jerimiah take charge of the situation.
The guests had a blast watching the drama, but they also knew when to back off. They pretended nothing had happened, and the banquet hall became lively again.
Zavier hung up the phone and returned to the banquet hall, only to find that the introduction session was over.
He asked someone nearby. “I heard Seth’s long–lost granddaughter has returned. Which one is it?”
