Chapter 6
“Look at the bag Anton bought for me. Is it prettier than the one you used to deliver takeout?”
Anthony’s face darkened, and he was about to rush over to confront Luna.
Just as he was about to leave, a noise came from the door.
His face lit up, thinking it was me coming back.
He rushed to open the door with joy, but he only saw Luna.
“Anton, surprise! I’ve been discharged and come to find you!”
Luna was dressed in revealing clothes. As soon as she saw Anthony, she came over to hug him.
“Anton, honey, don’t you miss me?”
Her words were coquettish, and her eyes kept glancing towards the room.
Luna was waiting for me. She wanted to show off in front of me.
Thinking of the messages on that phone, Anthony felt a surge of anger. He stepped forward and choked Luna.
“Luna, I’ve warned you, don’t provoke Karina. Didn’t you take my words seriously?”
Anthony’s veins bulged on his hand, and he increased his grip, causing Luna’s neck to turn red.
“How dare you ignore my warning? Why did you hate Karina so much and even hurt her like this?”

Luna’s face turned pale, gasping for breath, desperately grabbing Anthony’s wrist.
“I…I love you! And you’ve always loved me from the beginning! That Karina, how dare she take your heart away!”
Anthony’s face was full of disgust, and he violently threw Luna out.
Luna hit the wall heavily.
Anthony kept thinking about our sweet memories.
He remembered that I would make him a cup of hot milk when he was busy with work, that I would lean on his shoulder and watch the sunset and stars with him….
Now, he finally realized the person he loved was me.
Anthony glanced at the time, and he suddenly had an idea.
When he forced me to give blood to Luna, he saw my passport drop from my pocket.
He was anxious and rushed to the door.
Luna saw this and immediately got up from the ground, rushing forward to grab Anthony’s arm, shouting, “Anton, you can’t go find her! I’m the one who loves you the most!”
Anthony forcefully shook off Luna’s hands, not even looking back, striding out and quickly driving the car towards the airport.
In the car, Anthony took out his phone and called his assistant, his voice cold as ice, “Immediately lock down the airport. Try every means to stop Karina. Don’t let her board the plane!”
He hung up the phone, then stepped on the gas. The car sped up.
I was ready to board the plane, but I suddenly heard the announcement of the flight delay.
My brows furrowed instantly. I glanced at my watch and helplessly found a seat in the waiting area.
A sense of unease welled up in my heart as a group of security staff in uniforms quickly approached me.
I instinctively stood up, clutching my suitcase, my hand trembling slightly, ready to escape at any moment.
Amidst the chaos, a familiar and urgent shout pierced through the noise, “Karina!”
My body froze instantly as Anthony rushed towards me.
He ran up to me, hands on his knees, gasping for breath, his voice hoarse and pleading.
“Karina, please don’t leave…I was wrong. The person I’ve always loved is you.”
He disregarded the gaze of others and kneeled in front of me.
“Karina, let’s remarry as soon as we go back, okay? Don’t leave…
“Please, I was wrong, don’t leave. You’re pregnant with our child. The child can’t live without its father, right?”
The crowd gathered around us because of the noise Anthony made.
Everyone was blaming me.
“How can this woman be like this? She’s pregnant and still arguing with her husband.”
