My Fiance Becomes 2

My Fiance Becomes 2
Nathan signed my discharge papers, and I followed him home, still in a daze.
He said we’d been together for years.
But the huge villa had no trace of me. I pretended not to notice and nodded, just like he did.
He found me a pair of women’s slippers, which surprisingly fit perfectly.
Then he carried me up in his arms, set me gently on the couch, and kissed my forehead.
I tried to pull away, but he gently gripped my chin.
There was nowhere to run.
“Be good, Sienna Scott. I’ll make you something to eat.”
I almost forgot-I hadn’t eaten in days.
Nathan didn’t even have a housekeeper.
It was hard to believe a CEO like him cooked for himself when he got home.
I followed the sound to the kitchen.
He was calmly whisking the eggs.
Then I heard his voice-talking to Jesse on speaker.
“Just look after Sienna for now, will you?”
“You’re not worried she’ll leave you if she regains her memory?”
“Worried? Everyone in New York knows how much she loves me. Even if she caught me cheating in bed, she still wouldn’t break up with me.”
“Then why not just break up with her if you want to be with Winnie?”
“I do love Sienna, but she’s boring in bed. Once I’ve had my fun, I’ll come back for her.”
Nathan didn’t respond; his hand kept whisking.
“Nathan, you’re my best friend. I know Sienna’s not your type, but still, don’t touch her. She’s the woman I’m going to marry-“
Before Jesse could finish, Nathan hung up.
My knees almost gave out.
So Jesse-the man who once showered me with love and affection- had thought I was boring.
He’d grown bored of me long ago.
Nathan noticed me standing there.
He set everything down, quickly wiped his hands, and pulled me into his arms.
“What are you doing here?
“Bored already?”
I shook my head. “Just thought I’d see if you needed help.”
Nathan gently ruffled my hair.
“My Sienna doesn’t need to lift a finger in the kitchen.
“Leave everything to me.”
Nathan lied to me again.
Every day with Jesse, I did all the housework.
He didn’t like strangers in the house, so he never hired a maid.
As his girlfriend, I took on that role.
I had to wake up early to cook, do the laundry, and keep the massive villa clean.
My hands were rough, covered in calluses and fine lines.
I had already regarded him as my husband, so I did it all without complaint.
“Being with you means I don’t have to do any housework?”
I leaned against Nathan’s chest-his heartbeat strong and steady.
“Of course not. You’re the woman I love most. I’d never let you do any of that.”
Nathan’s tenderness almost made me forget that it was all just a lie.
The food he cooked was delicious.
It was exactly how I liked it-sweet and spicy.
“Nathan, do you also like sweet and spicy food?”
“It’s because you like it, so I made it for you.”
I felt a little confused. “How did he know?
“Even Jesse wouldn’t have known my taste,” I wondered inwardly.
Jesse hated the sweet taste.
So I never added sugar when I cooked for him.
Unexpectedly, Nathan knew.
I didn’t know if it was just a coincidence…
That night, I fell asleep in Nathan’s bed.
In the middle of the night, I felt his arms wrap around me from behind.
His body was incredibly warm.
I felt oddly comforted by it.
I enjoyed the warmth, so I let Nathan hold me.
He softly sighed against my back.
“How did you get so thin?”
