Eight hours later, Jasmine landed at the airport abroad.
Looking at the bright and beautiful sunlight above her head, she slightly shielded it with her hand, and the warm sunlight fell on her body.
She seemed to have not felt this warm for a long time.
Soon, her parents personally drove to pick her up and saw the wounds. on her forehead and arms. Instantly, tears welled up in their eyes.
“Jasmine, how did you get so many injuries on your forehead and arms?”
Jasmine’s eyes were filled with bitterness. She didn’t want to tell her parents the truth, so she spoke vaguely.

Jasmine panicked and quickly pulled out medicine from the drawer to give to her father.
Mom helped Dad calm down while wiping away her tears. “Alright, don’t be angry anymore. From now on, our family will completely cut. ties with the Sinclair family.”
Jasmine pursed her lips, “But dad’s illness…”
She didn’t want to have a falling out with Carl, just worried that he wouldn’t perform the heart surgery for her father.
Mom patted Jasmine’s shoulder earnestly and said, “Don’t worry, medical technology is very advanced abroad. Even if only Carl can perform the surgery on your father, your father wouldn’t want you to be dependent on Carl. Your happiness is more important than anything else.”

After saying that, Dad didn’t give Matthew a chance to explain and hung up the phone.
Dad took a long time to calm down, looking at Jasmine with heartache. “Having suffered so much, why didn’t you tell Dad? Jasmine’s eyes started to feel sour, and she cried in grievance.
She was sad that she had stooped so low as to let Carl hurt her, while ignoring her parents who had always loved her the most. Her voice choked, “Mom, Dad, I’m sorry, I made you worry. I won’t like Carl anymore, I will take care of myself.”
Seeing Jasmine say this, the parents nodded with relief.
Mom gently held Jasmine’s hand and said, “Jasmine, love is not about
settling. By the way, do you remember that chubby boy who used to pursue you in high school? He is now abroad and a few days ago, he asked me about you. Would you like to get to know him?”
Actually, Jasmine didn’t want to meet.
But she was also afraid that her parents would worry that she still loved Carl, so she reluctantly agreed, “Okay.”
