After the call, Yvonne roughly figured out when she’d be done with things here and booked a flight back to San Francisco in two weeks.
Once she got the ticket, the nurse came to tell her it was time for a follow–up check–up.
She sat in the wheelchair. But when she went outside and looked up, she saw someone famil- iar.
She had just seen him in the photo album.
It was Colin.

The moment he noticed her, the coldness in his expression grew even stronger.
“How did you know I was here? Did you follow me to the hospital?”
Yvonne hadn’t expected her first meeting with Colin after losing her memory to be like that, especially with how disgusted he seemed with her.
She was stunned for a moment before responding, “You’re mistaken. I didn’t follow you. I was in a car accident on the highway. I’m recovering here.”
Colin frowned and glanced at her. Before he could say anything, someone from the ward
came out.
He stepped forward to greet her, saying, “Sienna, your fever just went down. Didn’t I tell you to rest? Why are you out?”
Hearing the name, Yvonne turned instinctively and saw Sienna, dressed in a long white dress with waist–length hair.
Their eyes met, and Sienna gave a soft smile, looking surprised.
“It’s stuffy in the ward, so I came out for some fresh air. Colin, who is this?”

Colin’s gaze shifted slightly. “She’s Yvonne Zeller, my sister’s best friend and a designer in the company. I don’t know her well.”
Sienna smiled politely and said, “Nice to meet you, Ms. Zeller. I’m Sienna Jefferson. Your head is wrapped up–did you have an accident?”
Yvonne nodded. “Yes, I was in a car accident. I had a mild concussion and lost my…”
Before she could finish, a nurse’s voice called from behind her.
“Patient 1124, Yvonne Zeller. It’s time for your check–up.”
Yvonne, no longer feeling like continuing the conversation, quickly said goodbye and wheeled herself off toward the examination.
Colin, on the other hand, watched her go with a frown. Her calm reaction was so different from before, so he couldn’t help but watch her for a moment.
In the past, she would always pester him when they met. But now, she was leaving so deci- sively.
After finishing the check–ups, Yvonne went to the pharmacy to get her medicine.
Passing the garden downstairs, she noticed the weather was nice and decided to get some fresh air by taking a walk on her own.
Just as she reached the pool, she saw Sienna approaching.
“Ms. Zeller? Out for some fresh air as well? What a coincidence.”
Yvonne was also surprised but greeted Sienna politely.
Sienna was outgoing and quickly offered to help Yvonne with her wheelchair, smiling.
“Colin just took a call and went to work. I’m a little bored alone. Why don’t we chat? Since you’re Nancy’s friend and have worked with Colin for years, I’ve meant to ask you some- thing. I heard there was a girl who chased after Colin for seven years. Do you know who she is? What’s Colin’s attitude toward her?”
Yvonne paused for a moment but quickly regained her composure, answering calmly.
