Chapter 11
Caroline stayed in the dormitory for two days. Joshua asked her to go out, but she refused, citing a cold as the reason.
She needed to think carefully now.
Caroline thought back on everything that had happened in the past six months in her dorm room.
She couldn’t be sure that if she had taken precautions, the accident.. could have been avoided.
So she needed to be fully prepared, not only to take measures to prevent being hit again.
If the fate of being hit cannot be changed, she must also be prepared. never allowing this pair of scumbags to destroy everything again.
Thinking that if she couldn’t stop all this, she was very likely to face the pain of losing her legs again…
Caroline had been suffering from insomnia.
The pain of losing both legs at that time was compounded by the pain of later jumping off the building.
She couldn’t fall asleep at all, as soon as she closed her eyes, it felt like countless hands were tearing at her legs, ravaging her insides.
She endured this kind of pain for two nights, finally unable to resist, she lay on the table and fell into a deep sleep.

When she woke up, it was already dark outside. The rumbling sound. coming from her stomach indicated her current hunger.
“What should I eat? Caroline muttered to herself.”
In the previous life, she was hit tomorrow morning at the entrance of Maple Commons, which was a tree–lined avenue with few people.
It was because of this that the crazy person, Kelly, actually drove the car in reverse and ruthlessly ran over her legs after hitting her.
This led to her legs having to be amputated.
Thinking back to that moment, Caroline still felt an intense pain in her legs.
That was a pain that was etched in my memory forever and will never be forgotten.
Thinking of this, she instantly decided never to go to Maple Commons again. It was the place where her psychological shadow was created.
After thinking for a while, Caroline decided to go to Oak Commons.
Oak Commons is just across from the library and very close to the academic buildings, although the road is wide, it is also crowded.
Located between the library and the classroom buildings. Oak Commons was always the go–to spot for everyone after class. Kelly never dared to drive there with so many people around.
However, Caroline ignored it.
Kelly was a lunatic.
How can one use human thinking to understand a madman.
She really dared!
When Caroline walked to the edge of Oak Commons, she felt that something was wrong.
The cafeteria and the library were built facing each other, with a large road connecting the school gate in between the two buildings.
Usually it was always busy with cars coming and going.
Because of the large number of people and cars, this road never stopped.
However, tonight, under the shade of the trees in front of the library square, there were two black cars parked.
When Caroline passed by, she always felt like someone was watching her from inside, but when she looked over, she couldn’t see anything.
“No way, it’s only tomorrow, not today that you have to hit me, right? And I remember Kelly is a white car…”
Caroline muttered to herself as she walked, and before she could finish her sentence, she saw the car in front suddenly light up its headlights.
She ran straight towards her!
Caroline ran towards the teaching building, but the car seemed to have known she was going in that direction.
Surprisingly, it started off at an angle, and Caroline, seeing no way to avoid it, closed her eyes in pain.

“Be careful, classmates!”
The expected pain did not come. With a scream, she was tackled to the ground by a boy.
Caroline realized it and immediately got up.
He quickly picked up the stones piled under the tree and ran towards the car, smashing hard against the driver’s seat window.
