Chapter 14
In a few days, it will be the graduation exam, and Caroline is rehearsing intensively.
Although they broke up with Joshua, after all, they have known each other since childhood, they still occasionally go out to cat together.
Joshua would also come to watch her dance training from time to time, but strangely, she never saw Kelly again.
But Caroline didn’t care about these anymore, she just wanted Kelly to stop bothering her.
It is the end of June now, the weather has gradually become hot, and the campus is already full of short–sleeved dresses.
But today was unexpectedly gloomy, with no sunshine and rumbling thunder, it looked like a heavy rain was coming soon.
Caroline continued with her dance training as usual, but today they had a stage rehearsal and they went to the school’s auditorium for the performance.
It was almost Caroline’s turn.
Caroline was changing clothes when she heard a loud noise outside. She finished changing and walked out.
It was Joshua, holding a bouquet of flowers, placing it on Caroline’s seat and serving bubble tea to everyone.
Caroline smiled, with no ripples in her heart.
We have already broken up, now doing these things is just a waste of time and energy. How can’t he see it clearly?
“Caroline, come over here, your husband has sent you flowers, a girl in the class said with a smile.”
“Yeah, that’s right. This is just a rehearsal and we’re already putting in so much effort. I can’t imagine how grand the graduation ceremony will be.”
Caroline ignored their words, picked up the clothes and put them in her wardrobe, then walked away slowly.
Standing beside Joshua, she smiled and said. “Thank you.”
Joshua was taken aback, about to say something: “Carol, there’s no need…”
Caroline interrupted him, “But, I have already broken up with Joshua.” She turned to the girl who had just spoken, “So you’re wrong, he’s not my husband.”
“What?! When did you all…”
There were exclamations from all around as no one expected that they had actually broken up.
Caroline’s words were like throwing a huge rock into calm waters.
The crowd began to whisper, while Joshua frowned at her.
“Carol, come out with me, Joshua pulled Caroline out, but she shook him off.”
“No need, we are just friends. There’s nothing we can’t say in front of everyone, and besides, I have to go on stage.”
Joshua’s eyes flashed with a hint of sadness as she was indeed about to go on stage, he could only let go.
At that moment, there came a voice from outside urging, “Get ready, one by one.”
Caroline’s graduation dance performance was a dance that combined individual and team elements. They each took turns performing solo on stage, and finally all the swans danced together as a group.
Caroline was the lead dancer, the first one to go on stage. She looked as the lighting technician had already set up the lights. Caroline was ready to go on stage.
But she didn’t know why, she always felt a little uneasy in her heart.
After taking the stage, Caroline assumed a ready posture and looked up at the audience in front of her.
Today was the rehearsal, and beneath the stage were all her classmates, with few other audience members.
But Caroline felt a scorching gaze fixed on her, she looked up in that direction.
At that moment, I saw Kelly sitting in the corner, staring at me maliciously.
How did she come? Looking at the expression on Kelly’s face, Caroline’s uneasiness grew stronger.
But as the music started playing, she didn’t have time to think any

further and began her own dance.
But suddenly at this moment, she saw the terrified expressions of her classmates below the stage. They all widened their eyes and looked at her, as if surprised by something.
And the sudden white figure that darted through the crowd and rushed onto the stage, very quickly.
Before she could even distinguish who it was, she was tackled to the ground.
What followed was a cry of surprise.
“Caroline! Be careful!”
