Chapter 3
Indeed, whenever Sophie shed even a single tear, Jaxon and Rosie would feel heartbroken, let alone when I had slapped her.
But I didn’t stop. I stared straight at her. “Sophie, apologize to Rolly.”
Sophie’s eyes widened as tears quickly welled up. “Olivia, you can hate me, but you can’t humiliate me.”
Rosie’s face turned ugly. “Olivia, we’ve been tolerant enough with
far“. Look what you’ve done to this house! Don’t push it too
Jaxon also glared at me angrily. “Sophie got hurt because of you. You should be the one apologizing to her.”
I said nothing and silently picked up a stick that had fallen from somewhere, then started smashing things.
Dinnerware worth a hundred thousand dollars, vases worth millions, and famous paintings worth tens of millions–I destroyed them all.
Jaxon shouted angrily to stop me, but I forced him back several steps with the stick.
Ile roared, “You’ve gone too far! I shouldn’t have brought you back. You’re just a lunatic!”

I sneered. “You’re right. I am a lunatic, so don’t overestimate a lunatic’s self–control.”
Rosie clutched her chest, trembling with rage. “How could I have a daughter like you? All those years outside have turned you into a complete mess.”
I thought to myself: “A mess? But I’ve been trying so hard to be disciplined, to learn how to be normal. It’s you who pushed me to lose control.”
Sophie’s tears kept flowing endlessly, as if they would never stop. Her complexion grew paler, and her body trembled slightly.
Rosie immediately rushed over, asking nervously, “Baby, what’s wrong? You’re not having another episode, are you?”
Jaxon also walked over, watching Sophie intently.
Sophie took several deep breaths, then managed a weak smile. “Dad, Mom, please don’t be angry. This is all my fault. I made Olivia unhappy. I should apologize to Olivia.”
She stood up and walked over to me, her face showing careful, pleasing submission. “Olivia, whatever punishment you want to give me, I can accept it. Please forgive me. Don’t make things difficult for Dad and Mom.”

The next second, she walked up to me and lowered her voice: “Did you see that? They’ll only take my side. They’re my parents alone. Even though you’re their biological daughter, you can’t compare to me.”
I looked coldly at her smug expression, then grabbed a dinner knife from the table and stabbed it hard into the back of her hand.
“Ah!” A scream rang out as bright red blood spurted from the wound. Sophie instantly collapsed to the floor.
At the same time, Rosie’s shriek also erupted.
She rushed over like a madwoman and pushed me to the ground.
I tried to dodge, but the drug withdrawal symptoms kicked in again, making me feel nauseous and suffocated.
Then my forehead hit the ground, opening a bloody gash.
The ambulance arrived quickly, taking Sophie away while also picking me up.
At the hospital, Sophie was rushed into the emergency room.
I sat alone in the hallway. An ER nurse noticed me and bandaged my wound.

Chapter 3
When Sophie came out, Jaxon and Rosie, who had been anxiously waiting, immediately rushed over to check on her.
This time, Sophie didn’t need to fake being weak because her face was genuinely pale from blood loss.
She said, “Dad, Mom, I shouldn’t stay in this house. I never thought Olivia hated me enough to want to kill me. She’s your real daughter. Take Olivia back home. I don’t deserve to stay in the family anymore.”
Hearing Sophie’s words, Rosic was so heartbroken she felt like her heart would shatter.
She hugged Sophie, crying, “What are you talking about? You’re my daughter. No matter who I abandon, I won’t abandon you. Olivia is just a lunatic. She’s the one who should leave.”
Jaxon also said angrily, “I won’t let her get away with this. We have to call the police and have her committed to a mental hospital.”
The police arrived quickly. After understanding the situation. they all gave me strange looks and called for a psychiatrist to examine me.
While waiting for the psychiatrist to arrive, Jaxon coldly declared, “Olivia, you’ve exhausted all my patience. From now on, you can reflect on your actions in the mental hospital.”

I leaned against the wall, ignoring Sophie’s gaze, and gave Jaxon a defiant smile.
Soon after, Dr. George Black from the psychiatric hospital arrived.
Jaxon pointed at me, his face dark. “This is a mental patient. Take her to your hospital.”
George made eye contact with me, and I realized he was someone I knew.
“How is it you again?” George’s expression became serious. He instinctively stepped back and bumped into the door frame, nearly falling.
He said, “I just released her two years ago. I can accept any mental patient, except Olivia.”
