Sophie hurried away. She quickly touched up her makeup, preparing for the upcoming ceremony.
More than ten minutes later, she gracefully returned to the center of the crowd.
Jaxon took her hand and stood under the lights, speaking with passionate enthusiasm: “I’m deeply grateful to all our family and friends for attending tonight’s dinner. Taking this. opportunity, I’m proud to announce that my daughter Sophie will be the next company president.”
Applause erupted immediately. Witnessed by dozens of people, Jaxon handed the stock transfer documents to Sophie.
At the same time, an image was projected onto the wall behind them.
Someone noticed and asked with a laugh: “Mr. Thomson, did you prepare a video? Sophie truly is your beloved daughter- you really go all out for her.”
Jaxon was also somewhat puzzled, but assuming Sophie had prepared it, he said nothing.
However, moments later, everyone’s expressions changed completely.

Jaxon cagerly pulled her close, even starting to undress her right there on the staircase.
Then came the sound of barking. Jaxon looked down at the camera and kicked at it.
Everyone was stunned. They never imagined that Jaxon, who always claimed to love his wife and daughter deeply, would actually cheat and have an affair with his mistress right in his own home.
Jaxon’s face turned pale as he tried to block the projection with his body. But the images were cast onto him, making him look even more ridiculous.
He shouted: “This is fake! This is slander! Where’s security? Turn off that projector now!”
The projector was mounted on the ceiling. Finding it wasn’t difficult, but shutting it down would require either a remote control or someone climbing up to manually turn it off.
Rosie stared blankly at the projected images. Suddenly, she screamed and clawed at Jaxon’s face with her nails.
She roared: “You betrayed me! How dare you do this?”

The scene instantly descended into chaos, with guests utterly shocked.
A minute later, the video ended. Then the protagonist in the footage changed.
Sophie appeared, holding a cat and smiling happily. Anyone watching this scene would find it heartwarming.
Someone immediately recognized the cat as one Sophie had posted about on social media during her charity work.
But Sophie lunged forward, frantically pounding the wall: “Stop it! Stop it! Don’t any of you look!”
The next second, the person in the video pulled out a knife and viciously stabbed it into the little cat’s body.
The projected blood splattered across the real Sophie’s face. At that moment, she looked like a demon.
One second it was obscene footage, the next it became bloody slaughter. Everyone present was frozen in shock.
Sophie frantically explained: “This is all fake. How could I possibly do such a thing?”
But everyone wasn’t stupid. Sophie’s pure, innocent facade was about to crumble.

Someone said: “Since you claim this is fake, can you show us the cat from the video?”
Another person chimed in: “Right, and that woman from carlier too. Bring her out and let us ask whether what’s in the video is real or fake.”
Sophie bit her finger, then suddenly lunged at me, shouting: “It’s you! It’s you, isn’t it? I only killed one of your dogs. What exactly you want? You promised me you wouldn’t tell anyone about this. Where did you get this video?”

I had reviewed all the content from Rolly’s collar camera and edited all these interesting bits into videos.
I said calmly: “You’re more agitated than usual. Why is that?”
Sophie’s face suddenly turned pale.
I continued: “Is it because of that drink? Was there a
hallucinogen in the wine, or some drug to trigger my condition? You only had a little sip, but even you, a normal person, can’t control your emotions anymore.”
Sophie suddenly let go: “What are you talking about? I don’t understand.”
