I never imagined that my closest relative could say such hurtful things. Despite everything I’d been through in my previous life, it still stung deeply
I had just nearly killed Stella a moment ago, and she was humiliated. It made sense that she would want to fight back in front of everyone.
She shoved the two men holding her away and grabbed the switchblade from Hugo.
“Hugo knows me so well,” she said.
Hugo smirked, not even remembering that I was the one who had made that switchblade for him when we were children.
Now, he handed it to my biggest enemy, Stella, without a care for my safety.
Stella fiddled with the dagger and grabbed my hair. “Let’s start with
the hair.”
Hugo worried that I might attack and hurt her, grabbed my arms from behind, and forced my head down.
Stella grinned and sliced at my scalp. “Oops, sorry, my hand’s shaking.”
As she spoke, the tip of the blade slashed across the back of my head, leaving a deep wound.

I clenched my teeth, staying silent and still.
Remembering how weak she seemed when I beat her earlier, Stella got even angrier.
“You’re such a loser. Stop pretending to be tough.
“Even if you’re not afraid of pain, you still can’t win the guys over.”
The three men laughed as Stella shoved the blade deep into my thigh.
The switchblade was made from the toughest steel. With one swift move, it pierced my femoral artery, causing blood to pour out.
A few guests, unable to watch any longer, suggested to them that they should proceed with the ceremony first.
But Stella was full of anger and didn’t care at all.
“Watch if you want–leave if you don’t! From now on, I’m the leader of the Blueclaw, and my rules go!”
As she said that, she raised the dagger again and was ready to stab my other leg.
Just then, a stone flew out of nowhere, knocking the blade out of her hand. Moments later, another stone hit her in the eye.
Stella screamed, clutching her eyes in pain. Fabian rushed to help her up, Hugo went on high alert, and Matthew started yelling in anger.
“Who attacked our new leader? Show yourself!”
From the gate, a wheelchair was slowly pushed forward.

Matthew froze when he heard that voice.
Fabian and Hugo panicked, stepping in front of Stella to shield her.
I was covered in blood and struggled to get up. When I saw who was coming, I finally cried.
“Mom, are you alright now?”
My mother gave a slight wave, signaling me not to worry.
Then, someone quickly approached me with a medical kit to stop my bleeding.
Seeing my mother suddenly appear, Stella froze in fear, her hands shaking as she dropped the dagger.
Someone immediately picked it up and handed it to my mother.
She traced the pattern on the dagger with her fingers, her gaze fixed on Hugo. “Do you remember what you said when you received this dagger?”
Hugo’s legs gave way, and he collapsed to his knees.
“I… I said I’d be loyal to Ms. Jimenez forever.”
My mother nodded and turned her attention to Fabian, who was trembling. “Do you remember what you promised when I let Skye marry you?”
He was so scared that he started crying. “I–I promised to take care of Ms. Jimenez forever.”
