Fabian glanced at her deeply without saying anything.
Just then, his phone rang. He walked out, answered it, and left.
Giselle presumed he had left to go to Tatiana. Lying in bed, she couldn’t sleep no matter what.
But Fabian didn’t go to Tatiana. He went back to his parents.
Madilyn was very surprised. “Fabian? I thought you were on a business. trip. What are you doing here?”
“Did you slap Giselle?” Fabian cut to the chase.
“That bitch! She told on me already?” Madilyn resented Giselle even
more.
The Mercado family and the Wagner family had arranged for Fabian to marry Theresa. But Giselle came out of nowhere, slept with Fabian, and forced him to marry her. How shameless!
“She c didn’t say anything. I figured it out myself. Mom, she’s my wife and your daughter–in–law. Why would you target her like this? And you even slapped her? It’s like a huge slap in my face. Do you know that?” Fabian knew Giselle better than anyone. Madilyn had always given Giselle a hard time, but she had never told him anything. He had heard about it all from Theresa Mercado, his younger sister.

“Mom, I’m not taking her side. I’m just stating the fact. You’ve never been nice to her.”
“Look at what she did! Can you blame me? While you were away, she went out with another man. I’m her mother–in–law. Can’t I discipline her?”
“She went out with another man? Who?” Fabian frowned.
“Kenyon’s son! They were hugging each other, OK? Can you really live with that?”
Fabian knew Kenyon Bradley–he was Damion’s father. He thought, “Giselle was with Damion when I was away? And she told me there’s nothing going on between them?
“Damion again!”
His expression darkened immediately.
“Wake up, Fabian. Giselle is just a slut. Instead of being grateful for marrying you, she slept around. You should divorce her as soon as possible,” Madilyn suggested.
Fabian said nothing. He’d never tolerate the presence of the other man before the divorce was finalized.
Madilyn continued, “Fabian, Tatiana’s come around, and her parents. would like to see you two get enraged. You do know that Tatiana’s the one who can be of help, right? On the contrary, Giselle will only drag you down. Think about it–how much money have you given to her family over the past two years? She and her family are just greedy vampires.”
