Chapter 21 Set Her Free
Tatiana wasn’t very fond of Theresa, but since Theresa was Fabian’s sister, there wasn’t much she could do.
The guests at Madilyn’s birthday party were mostly her relatives, friends, and business partners.
Many of them had no idea that Fabian and Giselle had secretly married. They thought Tatiana was her daughter–in–law.
Madilyn wasn’t about to reveal the truth. Tatiana was a well–bred, beautiful young lady with a great temperament. She had been modeling since she was three and now had her own clothing brand. She was a perfect match for Fabian.
Giselle, on the other hand, came from a humble background and had just graduated from college. Worst of all, she used underhanded means. to sleep with Fabian and forced him to marry her. Tatiana hated. women like her the most.
Since Giselle didn’t show up today, Tatiana became the center of
attention.
Fabian sat in the corner, surrounded by business partners who came to chat with him, mostly to compliment and flatter him.
But Fabian wasn’t paying attention. He was all about Giselle.
“Fabian, where’s Gigi? Why didn’t she come? Don’t tell me you’re divorcing her!” Giada looked around but couldn’t find Giselle.

Fabian lied, “Grandma, Gigi isn’t feeling well today, so she didn’t
come.”
“Alright. I’ll go check on her later,” Giada said.
Fabian had to tell the truth. “Grandma, she went back to her parents‘ place…”
“I knew it. I knew you two must be divorcing. Gigi is such a good girl. You’ll regret it for the rest of your life if you divorce her!” Giada sighed. and left him alone.
Fabian left without having dinner.
He drove up to his doorstep but didn’t go in. Instead, he circled around and drove to Giselle’s place.
The light in her room was still on. She probably hadn’t gone to bed yet.
Fabian took out his phone to call her, but then he remembered that Giselle had blocked him.
He sat in his car for a long time in front of the door. In the end, he didn’t have the courage to go to her but drove off to Hayden’s club. “Twilight“.
“Did you have a fight with Giselle?” Hayden smiled and handed him a glass of whiskey.
Fabian didn’t say a word and downed it in one gulp.
“Since you’re getting a divorce, merry meet, merry part. Why are you making yourself unhappy?” said Hayden.
Fabian still remained silent.
Chapter 21 Get
Hayden asked, “Tell me. Why do you want to divorce Giselle? You guys always seemed so happy together.”
He knew Fabian well. Fabian wasn’t a two–timer. If he liked Tatiana.
they would have been together long ago. Why wait until after divorcing Giselle to marry her?
Fabian finally said, “Nothing. I just want to set her free.”
He had a prior engagement with Tatiana. Back then, he married Giselle only to escape the arranged marriage his family had set up for him.
After he married Giselle, Tatiana had been acting crazy, threatening to slit her wrists and jump off a building. She even became a vegetable because of him. He didn’t want her to keep making such a fuss.
Given Tatiana’s temper, if he continued to be with Giselle, she
definitely wouldn’t let Giselle off. She was so cruel to herself, let alone to Giselle.
That night, Fabian drank a lot. His phone kept ringing, but he didn’t even look at it and just turned it off.
“It’s Tatiana calling. Are you sure you won’t answer?” Hayden teased.
“Just drink with me!” He knew it was Tatiana calling. Since Giselle had blocked him, she naturally wouldn’t contact him again.
He was the one who proposed the divorce, but it was exactly what Giselle wanted. She probably had wanted to divorce him for a long time.
“Fabian, you still like Giselle, don’t you?” asked Hayden.
Fabian was a bit of a chauvinist. He would never allow others to pry
into his secrets.
