Chapter 6
As I was leaving, my mom called out from the kitchen:
“It’s good for you to meet up and talk with Olivia. You kids can communicate better with each other. Try to encourage her,
I heard her scores weren’t bad. Life isn’t determined by just one exam. Come back soon, your dad and I will have dinner waiting.”
I looked at my busy parents and smiled.
Don’t worry, this time our family will always be together for many more dinners to come…

I arrived at the old Quinn family home as Olivia had instructed.
As soon as I entered, I saw Olivia all dressed up.
She came over and quickly snatched my phone from my pocket.
When she looked at me again, there were tears in her eyes.
“Adam, can you come in without your phone? That phone ruined everything for me on exam day. I just want us to spend some time together properly, okay?”
I stared at Olivia and smiled.
I casually tossed my phone outside.
“Fine, if you don’t want me to have it, I won’t.”
Olivia seemed surprised that I agreed so easily.
A hint of joy flashed in her eyes.
She pulled me into the room and handed me a drink.
“Adam, we’re adults now. Have a drink with me, to say goodbye to our youth, okay?”
Looking at the drink Olivia handed me, I suddenly understood.
This must be why I had lost control when facing Olivia in my previous life.
It was because of this drink.
Olivia was already holding the glass to my lips.
I hesitated for a few seconds, but ultimately drank it all.
To make the fox show its tail completely,
Some sacrifice had to be made.
As soon as I swallowed the drink, I felt a wave of heat spreading from my heart.
In my hazy state,
I saw Olivia quickly taking off her clothes, just like in my previous life.
Then she threw herself into my arms.
Olivia laughed coyly in my ear, then her tone turned vicious.
“Adam, I told you I wouldn’t let you off! You knew I was in trouble but didn’t save me! Today is your retribution!”
A few minutes later, the door to the Quinn house was kicked open.
<
A group of fully armed police officers rushed in and pinned me to the couch.
Olivia, who had been smiling at me moments ago, suddenly changed her demeanor.
She looked at the female officer attending to her with terror,
Pointing at me and screaming:
“It was him, he tried to assault me! Officers, please save me, I’m so scared…”
The messy room, the half–naked young woman,
An was him,d me, a young man with a flushed face,
Everyone instantly guessed what had just happened in this room.
The next second, I was dragged out of the Quinn house by the fully armed officers.
As I was leaving, I spotted Mr. and Mrs. Quinn in the crowd, looking pleased.
I was shocked. So in my previous life, they had been in on the plot to frame me too…
As I was being pushed into the police car,
I saw my parents stumbling towards me.
The scene of their tragic deaths after being cyberbullied in my previous life flashed through my mind.
I struggled with all my might to the back of the car to look at them, shouting:
“Mom, Dad, no matter what happens, wait for me to come home! You have to wait for me! Trust me! You have to believe in me!”
Tears instantly blurred my vision.
The last thing I saw was the smug smiles on the faces of Olivia and her parents.
But I believed my parents would trust me.
This time, they would be waiting for me outside to get through this together…
