Chapter 26 Framed
She immediately swore, “Yes, I took it straight to Madam Claudia. I never gave it to anyone else. Everyone saw clearly when we handed it over downstairs–it was still perfectly fine!”
Claudia curled her lips mockingly and suddenly said-
“I have cameras installed in my bedroom. If I touched it after you gave it to me, the footage will clearly show it.”
Raine and Mandy’s expressions instantly changed.
Cameras? When were those installed? Why didn’t they know?
Mandy felt uneasy and instinctively looked toward Raine.
Raine gave her a quick look–Don’t admit anything!
Claudia’s probably bluffing!
But this time, Claudia wasn’t bluffing. After Yvonne stole her notebook and Mandy secretly switched her flowers, how could she feel secure without installing cameras in her room?
She immediately pulled out her phone, tapped a few times, and played a surveillance video.
It clearly showed she’d only touched the box once–from when she first took it downstairs until now!
Mandy’s face turned pale, her legs trembling-
Her reaction clearly revealed who had actually damaged the jade.
The old lady was furious. “Wonderful! You even dare frame your mistress? Who gave you such courage?”
Mandy collapsed onto the floor, crying out, “Ma’am, Mr. Nero, I was wrong!”
She instinctively glanced at Raine for help, only to see Raine looking at her with shock and anger. “Mandy, I treated you as a friend! I even spoke up for you earlier! How could you do such a thing?”
Mandy’s heart went cold. She wanted to shout back, Weren’t you the one who put me up to this? But facing Raine’s threatening glare, she swallowed those words back down..
No, she couldn’t drag Raine down with her. Raine was Wendy’s daughter; Wendy would plead with the old lady, and Raine would escape unscathed.
In the end, Mandy would gain nothing–and worse, Raine would seek revenge.
So she bit back Raine’s name and cried, “Ma’am, Mr. Nero, it was just an impulsive mistake…”
The old lady’s expression hardened. “An impulsive mistake justifies framing your mistress?”
“I didn’t want this either, but Madam pushed me into a corner first!”
Claudia raised her eyebrow. “When did I ever push you into a corner?”
Mandy sobbed pitifully—
Tonly moved a few of Madam Glaudia’s flowers, but she made such a fuss she almost threw me out! If Wendy hadn’t pleaded for me, I would’ve lost my job. She still took months of my bonus. Ma’am, please have mercy! My dad is disabled, my mom is severely ill, my brother’s tuition is due soon, and my whole family depends on my salary and bonuses to survive! Those flowers were wilting already–Madam Claudia would have thrown them away soon anyway! For something like that, she took away money my family desperately needed!”
The servants around them couldn’t help but feel sympathy. Even the old lady’s anger softened as she looked at Claudia with mild displeasure.

As the new mistress of Blossom Park. Claudia needed to establish authority–but wasn’t this going too far over something
trivial?
The servants also thought Claudia lacked compassion.
Seeing everyone’s reaction, Mandy secretly hid her face and smiled.
However, Claudia, who was the target of everyone’s scrutiny, appeared completely calm. Just as she was about to speak, Nero’s voice sounded beside her-

stolen?”
Claudia paused in surprise and turned to see Nero frowning slightly, eyes darkening. “Why didn’t you tell me?”
She hadn’t expected him to care about something so minor. Warmth filled her heart, and she shook her head softly. “She replaced half of them, but I handled it myself. You’re busy enough every day–I didn’t want to bother you with something
trivial.”
Her voice was gentle, her words warming everyone’s hearts.
Nero’s slender fingers, resting casually on the armrest, gently curled. Then, with eyes suddenly devoid of warmth, he turned to Mandy.
“For what you’ve done, she only deducted a few months of your bonus. That was already generous.”
Mandy panicked, pleading tearfully, “Madam…”
Ever since her grandson was diagnosed with a terminal illness, the old lady had become devout and merciful. Remembering Mandy’s story, she frowned slightly and sighed. “Nero, it was only a few flowers. Let’s forget it. Even the jade can be replaced…
“Stealing from your mistress, damaging her property, then deliberately framing her–there’s no place in Blossom Park for someone like that, Nero calmly said. “Since she chose to do it, she must accept responsibility and face the consequences. This has nothing to do with anyone else.”
The old I’m weak so I’m justified” act never worked with Nero. He was notoriously cold–hearted.
Claudia could see he was defending her, and sweetness filled her heart. Still, she didn’t want Nero arguing with the old lady over someone as insignificant as Mandy, so she quietly tugged at his sleeve, signaling him to let it go, and gently turned to the old lady-
