Gabriel frowned as he put down the phone. His mother’s words gave him a bad feeling.
He forcefully pushed it down, thinking it must be some trick I was playing, using Mrs. Curtis to pressure him.
He would go now and bring Jack back to expose my lies.
Gabriel arrived at the monitoring room of the dog training facility. Seeing a group of people inside, he impatiently said:
“Aria Stone, get out here. Last night you were acting all high and mighty, wanting a divorce. Now you regret it first thing in the morning?”
“What? Run out of props, so you found all these people to act with you?”
“If you want me to forgive you, you’d better come out and kneel down to apologize right now!”
Mrs. Curtis slapped Gabriel hard across the face, pointing at him speechlessly: “You, you, you…
“Mom, why are you hitting me?”
It wasn’t until Gabriel saw the surveillance footage from the dog training facility that his whole body froze, his expression fixed.
He saw several vicious dogs, taller than Jack, ferociously pouncing on him, cruelly biting his small body.
Unable to share the food easily, they brutally tore off his limbs. Blood covered the ground, licked clean by the encircling dogs.
Jack’s sharp cries filled the entire monitoring room. Finally, his calls for help could be heard:
“Daddy, I know I was wrong. Save me…
“Daddy, it hurts so much…”
Mrs. Curtis was crying so hard she couldn’t speak. The doctors surrounding her took her away for emergency treatment.
Several staff members from the dog training facility were kneeling on the ground. Their leader was named Tom Wilson.
Gabriel knew him; they had bought their dogs from his facility.
ሮ
Mrs. Curtis’s assistant pointedly said: “They deleted the surveillance footage. It took us a day and a night to recover it. For them to dare treat your son like this, they must have powerful backing”

Gabriel was so angry he was nearly losing his mind. He said word by word: “How dare you?!”
He grabbed Tom Wilson by the neck and demanded: “Who? Who told you to do this?”
Tom Wilson trembled in fear: “It… it was his own fault for running in there. It’s not just on us.”
Gabriel’s eyes were bloodshot: “Fine, tie him up and throw him into the starving dogs‘ cage. Let him taste what it’s like to be eaten by dogs.”
“I’ll talk, I’ll talk!” Tom Wilson was so scared he wet himself. He struggled to say: “It was Lily Ross! She told us to find a way to make sure the
child didn’t come back alive.”
“She gave us a lot of money. She said that once her child was born, the Curtis family wouldn’t care about this child anymore. The cleaner we
handled it, the better”
Gabriel punched the wall. He didn’t want to believe it: “How do I know you’re not just making this up?”
Tom Wilson was terrified. He hurriedly pulled out his phone, his hands shaking as he unlocked it: “I have the transfer records and recordings…”
Transfer records could be faked, but the recording couldn’t be.
When Lily’s voice came through, Gabriel finally believed it. All of this was her doing.
Then what Aria had brought back that day…
Gabriel couldn’t bear to think further. He suddenly lost his balance and fell to his knees, frantically pounding the ground with his fists.
It really was his son’s corpse.
He was so young, killed by dogs, then fed to dogs again by his own father, and finally burned to ashes as fertilizer.
He couldn’t imagine how desperate and pained Aria must have been at that time.
Tears fell in large drops on the ground. His son was dead, and the person who harmed his son must pay with her life.
He staggered to his feet, leaving behind one sentence before departing in a daze.
“Tie them up and feed them to the dogs.”
