Chapter 6 A Dog Killing
This hole was indeed meant for the dog.
Sandra kept a fierce black wolfhound. Just like Sandra’s temperament, the dog was extremely aggressive.
“Darky! Come out!” she shouted in the direction of the dog hole.
A robust black wolfhound immediately leaped out from inside and rushed to Sandra, wagging its tail.
After patting the dog, Sandra looked straight at Ash.
“Country boy, I forgot to tell you that Darky here is very territorial. Whoever dares to enter its hole won’t be let off easily. Haha. Let’s see if you have the guts to try.” Sandra laughed haughtily.
The large wolfhound was just like its owner, raising its head, barking at Ash, and revealing a row of snow-white fangs. It looked like it wanted to tear someone to pieces.
As the mother, Chelsea stood by, quietly watching the show, with no intention of interfering.
Zelda, on the other hand, frowned, constantly pulling Sandra.
“Woof, woof, woof!”
The barking of the wolfhound gave Ash a headache.
Ash stared back at Sandra with a disdainful tone. “You want me to crawl into a dog hole? Who do you think you are?”
Her words carried a hint of scorn.
Sandra became agitated. She had not expected Ash, a country bumpkin, to look down on her.
“Who do I think I am? I’m Miss Sandra of the Feron family.”
“By family hierarchy, you should call me big brother. Are you telling me that the Feron family hasn’t taught you about respecting your elders, or are you simply uncultured?”
“You! How dare you call me uncultured!” Sandra was furious. Sandra had been pampered since childhood, and no one dared to oppose her. This upbringing nurtured her temperamental nature, and she never learned to tolerate or control her anger once it surfaced.
She did not care whether Ash was her brother or not. Her eyes turned sinister, and she gritted her teeth, ordering her black dog. “Darky, bite him! Bite him to death!”
“Sis, please don’t do this! Ah!” Zelda was scared and kept stepping back.
The wolfhound swiftly responded to Sandra’s command. It raised its two front paws and pounced toward Ash.
On the sidelines, Chelsea coldly sneered, still observing the situation with indifference.
Meanwhile, some timid servants were frightened and quickly turned to call Wesley.
“Mr. Wesley, something’s wrong. Miss Sandra and Mr. Ash are having a dispute, and she’s set the dog on him…”
The wolfhound that Sandra kept was known for its powerful biting abilities.
Normally, Sandra fed the ferocious black wolfhound raw meat. Sometimes, she would directly throw a live chicken at the ferocious black dog. The fierce hound would pounce on the chicken immediately, knocking it to the ground and devouring it in large gulps. After finishing, not even the bones would be left behind.
Anyone attacked by this dog would likely be left maimed or worse. Although some people were afraid that Ash might get hurt, they did not dare intervene, helplessly watching as Ash was being attacked.
Everyone’s heart was in their throat.
Ash, however, remained calm and steady on her feet, casting a sidelong glance at the crazed dog closing in on her.
At a suitable distance, she deftly pulled out a gun from her waist and coolly pulled the trigger.
A loud “bang” pierced the air, startling a flock of birds into flight.
The black wolfhound let out a mournful cry and collapsed, blood gushing out from the wound.
The bullet had pierced its neck artery, causing blood to spray everywhere.
Sandra, caught off guard, was splattered with blood, which obscured her vision.
The wolfhound let out a couple more pitiful cries before breathing its last.
“Ah! Blood! So much blood!”
The air reeked of the scent of blood. Sandra wiped the blood from her eyes with her hands. When she saw the scene before her, she was utterly stunned.
Her Darky lay dead at her feet in a horrifying state.
Zelda, being timid, fainted on the spot.
Chelsea, witnessing the chaos, was frantic and at a loss for what to do.
“Oh my, someone help! A murder! No, it’s a dog killing! Quickly, tie up this wicked person! And call a doctor! Call a doctor!”
