Chapter 14
Homer’s car was really fast.
As he neared the school gates, his car zoomed past the cars where Sandra and Zelda were sitting.
At Welling Private School, every student came from the wealthiest families across the nation. Luxury cars and extravagant things were commonplace for them. The school’s entrance witnessed a constant stream of high–end vehicles going in and out daily. So, when they saw luxury cars inside the school, it did not surprise them at all. It was as ordinary as breathing air for them.
But Homer was different.
He was a national idol, the captain of the hottest boy band. Wherever he appeared, a crowd would gather, completely blocking the road.
Homer was always the center of attention.
As he opened the car door and was about to step out, a girl from school recognized him.
“Hey, look! Isn’t that Homer?”
“How could it be? He’s so busy. He wouldn’t have time to come to our school.”
“Maybe he’s dropping off Zelda and Sandra.”
“Wow, it’s really him!”
“Hello, can you give me an autograph?”
In no time, a group of fans rushed over, some so captivated that they took watercolor markers from their backpacks and asked Homer to sign their faces directly.
Ash opened her car door, intending to head towards the school gate, but before she could even take a step, she was pushed back by wave after wave of girls.
“Everyone, quiet! Shh! I don’t like noisy girls.” Homer put a finger to his lips and squinted with a flirtatious smile.
The fangirls immediately hushed, obediently blinking their big eyes. All eyes were on Homer, filled with anticipation, hoping he would come over to strike up a conversation or sign something for them.
Homer did not sign for any of the girls. Instead, he turned around, pushed through the crowd, and walked over to Ash, slinging an arm around her shoulder.
“Let me introduce you. This is my brother Ash. Everyone, take good care of him from now on.”
“Wow, he’s so handsome!”
“No wonder he’s Homer’s brother. He’s got great looks!”
The fangirls started chattering again.
Homer had a headache from all the noise, so he put a finger back to his lips to silence them.
They instantly obeyed, the crowd becoming quiet.
“Ash, see my charm? If anyone dares to bully you in this school, just mention my name!”
“Okay…” Ash nodded, feeling a bit overwhelmed.
This was the first time so many girls had surrounded her, and it felt like each one of them had a mouth as big as a lion’s, as if they wanted to devour
her.
“Ash, let me walk you in. Homer still had his arm around Ash’s shoulder, excited.
Ash, however, glared at him. “No need, I can go in by myself! First, you better deal with your fangirls! And don’t act like we’ve known each other for ages!”
She clenched her fist, her eyes cold.
However, this did not deter Homer’s enthusiasm. He playfully ruffled Ash’s hair, messing up her bangs. “Hey, why are you being so fierce to your
brother?”

Chapter 11
“Goodbye.” Ash moved her head away, slung her backpack over her shoulder, and coolly walked out of the crowd.
She exuded an aura of “keep away from me” that made everyone give her a wide berth, afraid to approach. Her face was tense, and she emitted a chilling presence that seemed as icy as the polar regions. It was as if wherever she walked, the green grass withered and froze in her wake.
The fangirls made way, muttering among themselves and feeling a bit uneasy.
“Why does he seem even colder than Truman?”
“Well, he’s from a rich family. They’re all like that.”
“But isn’t the Feron family supposed to have only four sons? When did the fifth one appear?”
“I’m not sure. Maybe he’s someone’s illegitimate child.”
“But he does look quite handsome. I think he’s even more attractive than Truman!”
Some of the fangirls blushed, finding themselves starting to have a crush on Ash.
