Chapter 16
Ash did not stay in the principal’s office for more than a few minutes before coming out. In the corridor, Sandra and her gang of students immediately blocked her path.
“How did it go? Didn’t pass the interview? Feeling down and embarrassed, huh? Do you really think this place is like your village school? Anyone and everyone can just waltz in?” Sandra sneered.
The other students joined in mocking Ash.
Ash really could not stand Sandra. She did not understand why Sandra got such a sense of superiority.
“Sandra, this is my first and last warning to you, I am your brother, so speak to me with some respect from now on, or else, believe me, I’ll slap you,” Ash said sternly.
“You! Who do you think you are, throwing your big brother attitude around? Do you really think I’ll acknowledge you as my brother?” Sandra fumed, her face red with anger and her teeth clenched.
But Ash remained composed, giving Sandra a wicked smile. “As long as the Feron family acknowledges it, that’s enough. As for you, you’re nothing!”
“You! You!” Sandra was so furious that her whole body trembled.
But Ash no longer bothered with her and continued to stride forward.
Her presence intimidated the students, and they made way for her in fear. They felt that Ash had the air of someone who had mixed with the underworld, and just a glance from her felt fierce.
“Sandra, it seems your brother went towards the academic building. Is it possible he passed the interview?”
“Yeah, he went upstairs!”
“So what? It’s all because of the support of the Feron family. Otherwise, how could he? Now, get lost and go to class!”
Sandra vented her anger on the other students since she could not take it out on Ash.
The students dared not speak up but secretly despised Sandra, who acted arrogant and pretentious.
The first day’s schedule was packed, and Ash sat in the last row, with her phone on silent, playing games all day. The only inconvenience she faced at school was going to the restroom.
Every time, she either slipped out of the classroom two minutes early or returned two minutes late after the break.
Naturally, the teachers had a poor first impression of her.
After school, Ash did not rush home. Instead, she leaned against the wall and continued playing games. As most of her classmates left, she casually slung her backpack over her shoulder.
As she walked out of the classroom building, she planned to pass by the playground on her way to the school gate. However, a group of male students wearing Kickboxing Club uniforms approached her.
These boys were all tall and well–built, with strong muscles. Their expressions looked fierce, and it was evident they were looking for trouble.
The club president, who led the group, stood before Ash, glowering at her. His eyes were filled with cold intent. “You’re Ash?”
“It’s me.” Ash replied calmly, having already guessed what this was about.
Sandra got into this school through kickboxing, so it was apparent who had sent these members to confront Ash.
Ash could not understand whether Sandra was simply clumsy and did not know how to cover her tracks or if she deliberately wanted Ash to know that she was behind the attack, wanting Ash to experience the feeling of being knocked down by Sandra.
Regardless of the truth, Ash did not bother to guess.
The club members wasted no time with words, especially the president. He gathered his strength and aimed a high kick at Ash.
Everyone thought that Ash would undoubtedly be hit and fall to the ground.
But surprisingly, Ash agilely evaded the attack, and before the president could react, she delivered a powerful kick right to his groin.
The club president’s strong body fell backward, and as he hit the ground, he let out a howl of pain.
