Ash’s remark left everyone utterly astonished.
What was going on here?
“You don’t even have a scratch on you…. What are you suing for?”
“Yes! Don’t push your luck!”
Everyone was upset by Ash’s words.
With a satíric tone, Chelsea nudged Sirena’s arm and said, “Look at his unforgiving behavior, Sirena. If outsiders caught wind of this, they’d think the Feron family is bullying others.”
“You have a point,” Sirena replied in agreement, adopting a more authoritative stance as she approached Ash. “Alright, enough. Let’s call it a day?
“Do I look like I’m causing a scene, Sirena?” Ash asked, turning her head to look at Sirena with a sneer.
She gazed at Sirena with a sharp, penetrating look that made her heart pound.
Sirena felt a shiver of fear, and her voice lowered slightly as she said, “Don’t escalate it further. It’ll reflect poorly on us.”
Unfazed, Ash continued to grin, exuding arrogance and defiance. She paid no attention to Sirena and instead walked toward the others.
“My moral damages and the time spent on this issue demand compensation, no less than 16 or 20 thousand dollars.”
“You must be joking! Pay compensation?”
“Yeah, it’s not your family who makes the law!”
People all said discontentedly, their eyes full of disdain.
Ash, still composed, crossed her arms and fixed a smirking gaze on the president of the Kickboxing Club. “You haven’t told your mom who I am, have you? The Feron family boasts the nation’s top–notch team of lawyers with a 100%-win rate in lawsuits.”
*Don’t try to scare me,” the president of the Kickboxing Club stammered in response and finally felt afraid now.
His parents, now suspicious, angrily questioned their son, “The Feron family? What lawyer?”
“Mom, he’s the youngest son of the Feron family.”
“What? How did you dare provoke the Feron family!”
All the people were taken aback, some chastising their son and urging him to apologize to Ash, while others quickly changed their demeanor, trying to appease Ash with feigned smiles.
It was as if they were marionettes being controlled by Ash.
When Ash told them to laugh, they dared not cry.
“I can let this go and drop the lawsuit, but you need to inform my two aunts, Sirena and Chelsea, about who is behind all this,” Ash said calmly.
However, the president of the Kickboxing Club and club members remained indecisive, and their heads bowed low.
“I shall grant you three seconds to think about it. 3, 2…
Ash then raised her hand, lowering her fingers one by one.
But before she could utter “1“, the president of the Kickboxing Club strode towards Sirena and Chelsea, bowing deeply as he said, “Sorry, it was Sandra who bid us to teach Ash a harsh lesson, and we dared not defy her?
“Yes! Sandra and Ash are all from the esteemed Feron family, and it would be unwise for us to provoke any of them,” agreed the club members hastily and despondently.
“What are you talking about? My Sandra has always been a good girl. She would never incite others to commit such misdeeds!” Chelsea became so anxious that she shot a hostile glare at Ash. “What the hell are you up to do? How could you accuse your cousin so falsely?”
“Chelsea, you are failing as a mother if your daughter cannot distinguish right and wrong! Surely you know the consequences of instigating others to bully their peers, don’t you?”

Welling Private School upheld strict rules, and any student caught violating them would receive a major demerit, potentially leading to expulsion with three accumulated demerits.
Sandra, already struggling academically, did her best to get into the school. If she received a major demerit, it could jeopardize her chances of higher education.
Chelsea never expected that Ash, this countryside child, was so cunning.
Far from being unintelligent, Ash proved to be quite astute.
“Ash, this is a private family matter. Let us discuss it at home.” Chelsea burst out in anger, though she had to maintain a facade of a smile.
