When he saw that Isabelle was actually giving people pulse diagnoses as a volunteer, he almost immediately wanted to call her to stop, afraid that she might cause harm.
Can you just randomly treat illnesses?
Without a second thought, Harlow dialed Isabelle’s number. However, her phone was currently in Lennon’s hands. Lennon was also anxious because no one knew that Isabelle had medical skills.
He and Indigo couldn’t explain it, and Taylor’s agent was there too, mocking him.
“Lennon, this girl you brought is quite something, using deception just to get someone to bring her water,” the agent teased.
“Why doesn’t she just set up a booth and start reading fortunes instead?”
Lennon glanced at the phone, “Let me take this call.”
He saw it was Harlow calling.
“Hello, this is Lennon, Isabelle’s manager.”
“Isabelle is on a task and can’t come to the phone.
“When did Isabelle learn medicine, and why is she pretending on a variety show? Isn’t she afraid of being exposed?” Harlow’s tone wasn’t friendly, even knowing Isabelle wasn’t on the line.
Lennon’s heart skipped a beat, “Harlow, are you sure Isabelle never learned any medicine? What if she really did encounter some traditional medicine, and received guidance?”
Lennon was still hoping for the best.
“No, I’ve never seen her study medicine,” Harlow flatly denied.
He had grown up with Isabelle. How could I not know?
“Then she might just be using the medical act as a ploy to get some help fetching water,” Lennon sighed.
This move by Isabelle was really risky. It could lead to a barrage of criticism.
Harlow was impatient, “Then why don’t you stop her? Such embarrassing antics are not just a disgrace to her but to our Powell family as well.”
Lennon felt Harlow’s reaction was a bit too severe, “You shouldn’t worry too much. Reality shows thrive on public opinion, and at worst, she’ll just get criticized a bit more.”
But it was creating buzz. Lennon had come to terms with it.
Just now, Taylor’s agent was being sarcastic, perhaps out of jealousy that Isabelle had thought of this method to stand out.
“Isn’t she criticized enough?” Harlow blurted out.
Lennon paused, wondering if Harlow was actually concerned about Isabelle.
Soon, Harlow added, “She’s bringing it on herself, but it makes us, the Powell family, look bad too.”
“Well, Harlow, Isabelle isn’t part of the Powell family anymore. Even if she causes a fuss, it doesn’t really concern your family,” Lennon had to remind him.
“So you don’t need to worry that much.”
Harlow was taken aback, “But people will still think she grew up with us in the Powell family, that we didn’t raise her well.”
Lennon was somewhat baffled, “Mr. Harlow, that sounds like something your parents should be worrying about.”
I’ve got other things to handle, so I’m going to hang up now.”

The first two had no major issues, but the third lady was different. Isabelle didn’t need to take her pulse to know there was something wrong.
“Madam, you’re usually quite optimistic and cheerful, right?” Isabelle asked, seeing the lady’s cheerful demeanor.
“Yes, I often go dancing with my friends,” the lady responded.
“My grandson is in college, and I’m usually quite free.”
She and the first lady were close friends, about the same age.
“Then you should go to the hospital for a check–up. Whatever the results, don’t worry. It’s always best to find out early and get treated,” Isabelle advised, causing a stir in the lady’s heart.
The audience in the live broadcast was also anxious.
“Could Isabelle really have discovered something?”
“The lady looks quite healthy.”
“But Isabelle is asking her to go to the hospital and even questioning if she’s optimistic.”
“She’s probably just making things up. At that age, who doesn’t have minor health issues?”
Online viewers were skeptical, and the lady herself wasn’t very convinced either.
“Young lady, you haven’t even checked my pulse, how can you tell there’s something wrong with me?” the lady questioned.
“Tell me, what’s wrong with my health?”
Isabelle smiled, “Madam, there’s no need to be nervous. If it can be cured, it’s not a serious illness.”
“I know, so just tell me. I can handle it.”
The first lady chimed in, supporting her friend, “Young lady, just tell her. If you don’t, she won’t take it seriously and won’t go to the hospital.”
Her close friend knew her best.
“It’s nothing major, just that there might be a tumor in your brain. You should get it checked out at the hospital to be sure.”
