“Darling, don’t listen to this girl talking nonsense. How could I possibly not be able to have children? Having kids isn’t something to rush; we’re still young and can wait a couple more years,” Zion said, trying to sound calm but clearly uneasy.
Zion had a sinking feeling. If he went to the hospital with his wife, the truth that he couldn’t have children would be confirmed.
“We should still go for a checkup. Isabelle is right. Whether it’s your issue or not, we should get it checked. Treat it like a health examination.” Katherine insisted firmly.
“My workplace already conducts annual checkups,” Zion protested, hoping to avoid the visit. If it turned out I really was the problem, how could I face anyone afterward?
But this time, Katherine wouldn’t back down. After two years of enduring Camila’s constant nagging, she’d had enough.
“If you refuse, we’re getting a divorce,” she said calmly.
Camila panicked. “No, you can’t get divorced! The Dove family has never had a divorce–it would be humiliating!”
Zion was equally alarmed. “Divorce? You’re sentencing me before we even have the results? For two years, I couldn’t blame you for not having kids, but now that it might be me, you want to leave?”
He thought Katherine was being unreasonable.
But after everything Katherine had endured over the past two years, she wasn’t about to give in.
“Are you feeling guilty?” she challenged. “Getting a checkup would be good for both of us. It would also stop your mother from nagging us every day.”
Zion suddenly found himself resenting Camila. If not for her constant meddling, this situation wouldn’t have escalated.
“I’ve already said that not having kids right now isn’t a big deal. We can wait a couple of years,” he said, trying to stall for time.
Katherine let out a cold laugh. “When your mom called me a wench who was infertile and forced me to try every folk remedy under the sun, you didn’t say that!”
Zion was left speechless. Camila had always targeted Katherine with her complaints about having grandchildren, rarely saying anything to him directly. Besides, he worked night shifts and slept during the day, so he didn’t spend much time at home with Camila.
“That was in the past. I’ll make sure she stops doing that from now on,” he said defensively.
“Don’t bother. If it turns out the problem is you, she can always find some remedies for you to drink. Maybe they’ll work for you,” Katherine retorted sarcastically.
The crowd began urging Zion to go to the hospital. Even those who disliked Camila chimed in, telling her to go and Katherine for a checkup.

Zion tried to save face. “Maybe Isabelle’s diagnosis was wrong. She’s just a young girl–do you really think her pulse readings are that accurate?”
Just as he finished speaking, Mason, Calla’s grandson, received a call from Emery.
“Grandma’s test results are out. She has a pituitary adenoma and needs surgery to remove it,” Emery reported. “Once you’re done, bring mom and dad to the hospital.”
Mason was shocked at how quickly the results came back. Feeling deeply grateful to Isabelle, he turned to her and said, “Ms. Powell, if you still need help delivering water this afternoon, let me know!” Then, he rushed off.
The crowd exchanged looks of astonishment. They had been skeptical of Isabelle before, but Calla’s diagnosis proved her skill undeniably.
“The young lady really knows her stuff. It’s just a shame she rarely writes prescriptions,” someone commented.
“I hope she can come back this afternoon. I’d like her to check my daughter–in–law. She’s been weak ever since giving birth,

Others urged Camila. “You’d better take your son to the hospital. If she says it’s his problem, she’s probably right.”
“Exactly. The sooner you find out, the sooner you can treat it. Maybe it’s not too late to fix,” someone added.
“Katherine, take Zion for a checkup. Otherwise, you’ll never have kids, no matter how long you wait,” one person said.
In the end. Camila’s desire for a grandchild outweighed her love for her son.
She turned to him and said, “Let’s go to the hospital!”
This dramatic turn of events caught everyone by surprise and brought Isabelle even more attention.
With over 15 dollars in earnings, Isabelle left the neighborhood, though many residents seemed reluctant to see her go.
After learning Isabelle was recording for a reality show, the elderly residents said, “Isabelle, we’ll definitely watch your show in the future.”
“Yes, we’ll support you. You should hold more free clinics like this,” one added.
“It doesn’t even have to be free–we’ll pay!” someone else chimed in.
They went home and asked their families about Isabelle’s show, eager to find and watch it.
As for Isabelle, she hadn’t expected to encounter someone as peculiar as Camila. It seemed the woman had brought all this upon herself.
Still, this encounter not only earned Isabelle more attention but also gave her the funds she needed.
