Tve learned a lot since I got here, Freya said. “I’ve improved quite a bit. If I keep training like this, maybe I’ll become a well-

Then keep it up. Louis replied over the phone. “If you run into any problems, just tell me.”
“Will doc
They didn’t talk much longer before hanging up.
Even though they weren’t in the same place, Louis knew Freya’s schedule well enough not to keep her up late. He held back anything else he wanted to say, knowing she needed her rest.
With Kendrick already giving him updates, there wasn’t much left to ask. Now that the entire set knew she was his wife, he no longer had to worry about anyone trying anything. Everything was under control.
The next day, Kendrick stayed with her through the morning and left in the afternoon. Just before leaving, he told Freya he’d already followed Louis’s instructions and arranged meals for the entire week. All she had to do was let the restaurant know what she wanted each day, and they’d deliver it straight to her.
Freya didn’t even get a chance to say no. Kendrick had only told her on his way out the door.
But it didn’t stop there. After Kendrick left. Freya realized he’d done even more than she thought. All the little inconveniences around the set had been taken care of. That night, she couldn’t help but feel grateful to Louis again.
Days passed quickly. Within a week, everything on set had been going smoothly. A few actors tried to snag extra scenes here and there, but Freya didn’t pay it much mind. It was all part of the game. Overall, things were progressing without a hitch.
That day started off like the rest–Freya was reviewing the script with Clara, talking through the characters‘ lines. Then, out of nowhere, she heard shouting nearby.
-Watch out!”
“Move
“Oh my god!”
“Ahht”
Before she could even process what was happening, someone shoved her hard out of the way. She felt something crash into her, knocking her off balance and sending her to the ground.
Her knee scraped against the floor, and her elbow took a hit too. Just as she was starting to sit up, she turned and saw Violet zip past, still hanging from a wire rig.
“Grab her, now!” Zane’s voice rang out, sharp and urgent. People rushed in–some to help Violet, others to check on Freya
and Clara.
Freya looked over and saw Violet being caught just in time, stopping her from slamming into anything else. Only then did Freya sit up, heart still racing.
Clara had also been knocked down, but not as hard. She got to her feet quickly and hurried over to Freya “Are you okay?”
“Freya! Clara! Are you two alright?” Jasper was the first to reach them, having been nearby watching Violet’s scene. He looked genuinely worried.
Tin fine Clara said quickly “just a little shaken. But Freya’s knee got scraped up. Violet came flying in too fast–1 barely had
to push her out of the way.”

People swarmed around them, all concerned about Freya
“Make way!” A commanding voice sliced through the noise, and the room fell silent. Without thinking, everyone stepped aside. Freya froze, then slowly looked up–only to see Louis striding straight toward her

He’d finally managed to clear his schedule to visit the set–only to walk in and see Violet crash straight into Freya. His chest lightened like someone had knocked the wind out of him.
Without a word to Zane or anyone else, he rushed straight to Freya
“What are you doing here?” she asked, wide–eyed, still in
shock
“Easy” he said his voice softer than usual. “Let me see how bad it is
Louis didn’t care how he looked in front of everyone. Seeing her curled up like that, holding her leg, hit him right in the
chest
“I’m okay” Freya whispered, trying to hide how much it hurt
“Let me see,” he said firmly. He gently took her arm and looked over the scrape. Just a scrape–nothing serious.
It wasn’t a deep wound, but against her soft, flawless skin, it looked brutal. It made his chest tighten.
Then he gently rolled up her pant leg. The second he saw her knee, his eyes narrowed. Blood. It wasn’t a deep cut, but it looked raw and painful all the same,
