At 3 am., Angelo’s phone was buzzing like crazy.
Miley sent a photo of her wrist cut, blood staining the edge of the bathtub, with a note saying, “Goodbye, Angelo.”
He suddenly sat up, his fingers shaking uncontrollably.
Even though he saw her true colors, years of responsibility still made it hard for him to turn a blind eye.
Twenty minutes later, he kicked open Miley’s apartment door, only to find her sitting on the sofa with exquisite makeup, with only a shallow scratch on her wrist.
“You lied to me again,” he said, his voice as cold as ice.
Miley laughed and shook her wine glass, “If not, would you still come to see me?”
Angelo turned around to leave, but suddenly felt dizzy.
The water that was handed to him was drugged.
The last thing I saw before passing out was Miley holding her phone close with a twisted smile, saying, “Tomorrow the whole world will know, you chose me after all…”
The next morning, “Angelo and Miley spent a good night together” topic skyrockets to trending topic.
In the blurry candid photo, Angelo was lying on Miley’s bed in disarray, while she was leaning against his chest in sexy pajamas.
Priscilla was surrounded by a group of reporters as soon as she left the court.
“What do you think about your ex–husband meeting his first love at night, Prissie lawyer?”
She glanced at the photo and suddenly chuckled.
“I suggest everyone get a pair of glasses, from this angle you can see Mr. Haley’s dilated pupils, clearly in a confused state of mind,” she pushed the microphone away, “But that’s none of my business.”
This calm “none of my business” is sharper than any accusation.
When Angelo woke up in the hotel, “all hell had broken loose.”
He stared at the photo of himself losing consciousness, his eyes deep, and then suddenly grabbed the car keys and rushed out the door.
This time, a small recording pen lay in his pocket.
When Miley opened the door, she was still wearing that pajamas, with a charming smile: “Missed me already?”
“Delete the photos,” Angelo opened his voice recorder directly, “or I’ll sue you for drugging, defamation, and infringement of portrait rights.”
Miley’s face changed suddenly, “You recorded it?! Angelo, are you crazy? For that bitch-”
“He cursed at her again,” he grabbed her chin, “I will make you play the piano in jail for the rest of your life.”
An hour later, Angelo’s personal account posted a statement.
“Ms. Garcia created false rumors by drugging, evidence has been collected and legal responsibility will be pursued.”
In the attached audio, Miley admitted all the conspiracy herself.
Netizens were in an uproar.
“My first love was the most poisonous thing ever! Talking about piano? Come on! This acting deserves an Oscar!”
“Mr. Haley finally woke up, but Prissie didn’t want him anymore hahaha!”
“Who let him misjudge people, some people are not blind in the eyes but blind in the heart!”
On the rooftop of the law firm, the assistant asked cautiously, “Priscilla, is Mr. Haley standing up for you this time?”
Priscilla looked at the neon lights in the distance, her tone calm.
“What was he trying to prove by taking it out on me? He was just trying to save face for himself.”
How could Angelo, that guy, possibly put up with being played by a woman like a puppet?

When she turned around, her phone lit up.
It was a long letter from Angelo, full of repentance between the lines.
Priscilla didn’t even look at it, just deleted it.
Late at night, Miley smashed everything she could in the apartment.
On the phone, the agent coldly declared, “All partners have requested to terminate the contract, you have been blacklisted in the industry.”
She grabbed the car keys and rushed out the door, with a crazy gleam in her eyes.
Since it’s all over, let’s just go down with her!
