Chapter 24 Official Announcement of Being Together
No one expected, the Arellano Group had another trick up their sleeve.
The next morning, Arellano Pictures official account posted an announcement.
Starting today, Arellano Pictures will donate twenty percent of all proceeds from films featuring Leanna to the National Mental Health Association.
The National Mental Health Association official account immediately followed up, announcing the invitation to Leanna to become the spokesperson for the National Mental Health Association.
Not long after, Leanna retweeted tweets from Arellano Pictures and the National Mental Health Association, with the caption: “Thanks for the love and support, happy to help in any way I
can.”
At this point, Leanna got the official stamp on her body, and the stock price of Arellano Pictures skyrocketed.
This move left the industry amazed.
The Ferguson Group.
Emery looked at the cold and noble profile of Lamar on the computer page, and had to admit that Lamar did have a lot of business talent, worthy of being the most outstanding young person of the Arellano family in this generation.
It’s easy to imagine, the Arellano family must have reached a new peak under his leadership.
Hmph! Emery chuckled and closed the webpage.
Being talented doesn’t change the fact that he’s still a jerk!
Luckily Grace had already forgotten about him, and he didn’t like Grace either.
With his cunning, Grace could have been eaten alive.
After the dust settled, Leanna returned to the set to film.
After hitting rock bottom, she’s not as arrogant as before, and Leanna is even more reserved and low–key. She hardly talks to anyone except her assistant, and just focuses on filming every day.
No one dared to strike up a conversation, afraid of touching her
sensitive nerves, just like Rita, it would be a disaster.
That could be someone supported by Mr. Arellano!
Rita returned to the cast after the apology incident.
She didn’t want to at first, but Arellano Pictures insisted on doing things properly, not letting Leanna take any risk of being blamed. Plus, Graciela didn’t blame her and had Nora come to comfort her.
She finally agreed.
Life was just going on in a plain and simple way. Time seemed to be fast–forwarded.
The movie finally premiered in prime time.
The movie made a big splash with the public before it even premiered, so it broke the record for the highest box office on the first day of release in the prime time slot.
After the successful investment, we held a small celebration party, invited the main creators of the drama, and allowed
media access.
The celebration will be held at Swan Hotel.
Graciela dressed up and attended with Helena and Nora.
After the movie wrapped, Graciela brought Nora on board as
her assistant.
Her popularity skyrocketed after a few black–to–red transformations, she’s no longer a small–time celebrity, she can even have an assistant according to her status, so her colleagues at the company don’t have any objections.
The banquet was very high–end, with a buffet.
The light and shadow intertwined, with the fragrance of clothes and the shadow of hair.
Actually, it’s more like a meeting to attract investment than a celebration.
Not only did the crew, media, and director come, but also many bosses from film and television companies.
Graciela came quite early.
As soon as she appeared, the media swarmed over to interview
her, showing off their gossiping nature.
“How’s it going with Mr. Morrison, Ms. Ferguson?”
Before the event, Helena had already prepared the media’s
questions and coordinated answers with Graciela.
So she replied gracefully, “I should consider myself friends with
Mr. Morrison, he’s a nice guy. But I’ve been busy with filming, so we haven’t had much contact. I don’t really think I’m as good as he says, but I really appreciate his friendship.”
“Will you guys be together then?”
“This is up to time!” Graciela smiled brightly, “If it’s meant to be, it will naturally blossom and bear fruit.”
“Are you still getting along well with Ms. McLean? Because, you know, you were totally bashed online when Ms. McLean was down, but now she’s back on top and even more popular. Are you feeling a bit bitter about it?”
“Hmm!” Graciela paused for a moment, then answered seriously, “At first, of course I would get angry, but I’m not the type to let others bully me. If someone bullies me, I will
definitely fight back. That’s just how I am. I don’t hold grudges,
once the situation is over, I move on.”
“Would you be willing to work with Ms. McLean again next
time?”
“If there’s a good opportunity, I would definitely be willing to
collaborate with Ms. McLean,” Graciela smiled and said, “Ms.
McLean’s acting skills are really good, I learned a lot. So please
help us promote and support our movie, everyone, please!”
She flirted with the media, her bright smile winning everyone
over.
Graciela answered all the questions and took several photos very cooperatively, and finally the media left her alone.
Helena gave her a thumbs up in the corner.
Graciela breathed a sigh of relief and went to grab something to
eat.
Nora sidled up to her and whispered, “There are a few flower baskets at the door, they’re for you. I checked, they’re from Mr. Morrison.”
“Didn’t anyone else come?” Graciela whispered.
“I didn’t see it.”
“That’s great!”
It’s been over a month since Mr. Morrison confessed his love to
me from afar.
For various reasons, Graciela never reached out to him.
Of course, Ambrose didn’t contact her either.
Graciela guessed he was probably angry.
She understood very well. If she were in that situation, she
would also get angry and wouldn’t go out of her way to please others.
So when she answered the media today, she took the opportunity to express her gratitude to Ambrose.
To be honest, Ambrose was a really nice guy. It would have been great to be friends with him if given the chance.
Too bad she messed it up.
However, there is no way to have the best of both worlds in this
world, Graciela is very optimistic.
