He didn’t know how long he had kissed Maggie before finally letting her go, pushing her hard against the wall. His voice was hoarse as he said, “Why did you seduce me? Remember, you are not allowed to be presumptuous in front of Alyssa.”
Maggie did not answer his question, but kept laughing while hugging his neck. After a long time, she leaned close to his ear and whispered, “Have you been hooked? I’m jealous, you know, and I’m not allowed to act coquettish~”
She coquettishly leaned against his firm chest while rubbing her body against it. He felt her softness like water, didn’t say a word, but his breathing became heavier and heavier. After a moment, he couldn’t control himself and kissed her heavily again.
“Tomorrow I will set off the same fireworks for you. Whatever Alyssa has next, you have it too, except for one thing – my bottom line is not to make a
scene in front of Alyssa.”
Although she had long known about the relationship between Austin and Maggie, she could not resist the impact of seeing it with her own eyes at this moment. Her heart ached faintly, as if being cut by a blunt knife on the flesh, causing her eyes to fill with tears unconsciously.

Just a wall away, she listened to the man who once said he would never betray her, engaging in intimate activities with another woman.
She trembled as she took out her phone, aimed it at a nearby spot, and started pressing the record button.
They tangled inside for how long, she listened outside for how long.
Finally, when the two of them were completely out of breath from sprinting, she glanced at the recording time on the screen.
A full hour and thirty–six minutes.
But this is not the end yet.
Watching Austin open the second package, Maggie softly stopped him, “Mr. Burton… that’s enough… Aren’t you going to accompany your wife? It’s very cold and she has been waiting for quite a while.”
“Shut up! Get down!”
Austin coldly interrupted her, not saying a word, but instead directly took possession of her again, starting the next conquest.
This time, Alyssa couldn’t listen anymore.
She turned around unsteadily, her face pale, and walked away.
After returning home, she silently sorted through all the memories related to Austin over the years – their photos, all the gifts he had given her, and the couple items they had once chosen together to represent their love.
There are also wedding dresses, wedding photos, wedding rings…
She packed all those things into a box, then had someone move it to the backyard. After all the servants had dispersed, she expressionlessly took out a lighter and directly set fire to the box.
Finally, she turned her gaze towards the garden behind.
There, was a large patch of roses that Austin had once planted for her.

Austin, the roses will no longer grow, and there is no future between us.
