Chapter 7
Because Alyssa was still there, the party didn’t last long. As the sky darkened, Austin took the initiative to end the party and left the room with Alyssa.
Just as he reached the ground floor, his phone rang.
Glancing at the name on the phone screen, he instinctively avoided answering her call.
Three minutes later, he hung up the phone and looked apologetically at Alyssa, “Alyssa, I suddenly have something urgent to attend to at the company. Would you mind if the driver takes you back first?”
She looked at him steadily, neither exposing him nor agreeing to his proposal.
“You let the driver go back first, it’s not far from here, I want to take a walk and clear my mind.”
Austin thought for a moment, “The villa is not far from here, and I have been staying at home recently. It’s a good opportunity to relax.” She waved to the driver to go first and then got into another car.
She watched him leave and hailed a taxi.
“Follow the car in front.”
Austin’s car didn’t go to the company, but instead parked in front of another apartment building.
Alyssa had just paid and gotten off the car, when she turned around and saw “Maggie, with a slightly bulging belly, running out happily from inside, heading straight for Austin.”
Austin was also calm, with a smile on his face, using both hands to catch the person steadily and embrace them.
If someone who didn’t know saw it, they might also sigh at their sweetness.
Not far away, Alyssa looked at Maggie in front of her and smiled as she leaned close to his ear. She said something, and Austin, who was still outside at the moment, couldn’t care less. He just grabbed the back of her head and passionately kissed her.
When they parted again, Maggie’s eyes were as charming as silk, and the lipstick on her lips had been smudged off quite a bit. She bit her lip, making her look even more enchanting.
When their eyes met, they locked gazes, and before they knew it, the distance between them was getting closer and closer, and they could both clearly feel each other’s breath.
“Ah!”
The next second, Maggie exclaimed, and was lifted up by Austin and walked towards the apartment.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, playfully hammering his chest with one hand, and shyly said, “Don’t be naughty, I’m still pregnant.”
His eyes darkened, he lowered his head and planted a kiss on her lips, “It’s been three months, it’s time to let the child meet his father early.”
Maggie was still hesitating, “No, I’m afraid…”
“Don’t be afraid, it’s been so long since we last touched, do you know how crazy I am about it?”
As the words fell, he walked quickly into the room with Maggie in his arms.
Alyssa didn’t know how long she had been standing in the same spot until the phone in her bag rang.
She opened it and found it was an unfamiliar number.
She knew who it was, so she answered the call.
The head did not speak, only the sound of clothes rubbing against each other could be heard.
“Mr. Burton, I really couldn’t eat anymore.”
The coquettish words came through the phone receiver and into Alyssa’s ears clearly, followed by a familiar male voice, husky and flirtatious, saying, “Darling, can’t you eat this?”
Moans, gasps, and some incomprehensible sounds were intertwined continuously, stimulating Alyssa’s eyes to turn red. The sky had gathered dark clouds at some point, and large raindrops formed lines, hitting the ground and leaves, creating a pitter–patter of rain.
In a flash, she was drenched through by the rain.
