Chapter 22
Torrelma.
Alyssa bought the apartment next to hers with the introduction of Theodora.
The apartment was not big, but it was enough for her to live alone. She had just moved in and there were still many things that needed to be purchased again.
There happened to be a large supermarket nearby, so Alyssa went shopping with Theodora.
The variety of things in the supermarket was very complete, covering all aspects of clothing, food, housing, and transportation, which saved her the trouble of running around everywhere. With so many things bought, Alyssa was also worried about how to bring all these things back.
“Don’t worry, this supermarket offers one–hour delivery service, just need to pay some delivery fee.”
Seeing her frowning face, Theodora couldn’t help but laugh. She explained to her out loud, and when she looked at him with a grievance, he stared at her
pouting cheeks blankly. In that moment, there was only one thought in his mind, “So cute!”
Alyssa blushed under his direct gaze, cleared her throat twice, and then hurriedly turned to find a staff member to discuss the delivery service.
The main items that need to be delivered to the door are mostly furniture and household appliances. After discussing the details, Alyssa turned to greet Theodora and then pushed the cart towards the food section.
Just moved in, the fridge was empty, she felt a bit uncomfortable. In addition, Theodora’s family had helped her a lot in buying a house and settling down, she also wanted to repay
them.
Alyssa walked and stopped along the way, wanting to put everything she saw into the shopping cart – vegetables, meat, snacks, fruits, drinks. As they strolled, Theodora’s shopping cart was actually stuffed full, with a lot of things and quite heavy. Even though the shopping cart helped save a lot of effort, it still felt a bit difficult to turn corners.
Alyssa turned around and saw him struggling, only then did she realize that Theodora had taken the cart from her hands at some point. She looked a bit embarrassed and said, “I’m really sorry, I’m bothering you again…”
“Alyssa, this is the hundredth time you have apologized during this period. Aren’t we friends? Isn’t helping each other what we should do? You keep apologizing, do you not consider me a friend?”
Theodora pretended to be wronged, her words full of accusations against her, making Alyssa feel guilty in her heart,
The apology was on the tip of his tongue, but then he remembered what he had just said, so he quickly changed his words, “No, no, of course I consider
you as a friend. I just felt like I was bothering you too much. After all, Theodora has really helped me a lot and saved me a lot of trouble.”
Her expression was very sincere, which made Theodora unable to help but smile, “Okay, I know Alyssa is not that kind of person. I just feel that since Alyssa considers me a friend, shouldn’t our interactions be more natural, without worrying about causing trouble, and Alyssa is very welcome to take advantage of me.”
After speaking, he looked at Alyssa, who happened to look up at the same time. At the moment when their eyes met, she was slightly stunned.
I never expected Theodora to say such words, sincere and passionate emotions were about to burst out, wrapping around the two of them, appearing ambiguous yet intimate.
She swallowed hard and suddenly felt her heart skip a beat.
Perhaps it was her imagination, but Alyssa always felt that when she was alone with Theodora, the number of times she blushed increased many times
over.
