Chapter 9
Glass shards flew and cut small pieces of skin on Liana’s neck, but most of them landed on Abbie. She lay amidst a large pile of shards, covered in blood, too much in pain to even speak.
Liana shed tears and touched her own neck, “Vincent, I am in pain…”
Vincent carefully observed for a moment, and on his usually cold and calm face, chaos erupted. He quickly picked up Liana horizontally and was about to
leave.
The moment he stepped out of the compartment door, he suddenly realized that there was someone named Abbie.
“Abbie, I will have my assistant take you to the hospital later!”
He didn’t even turn around. After saying this sentence, he hurriedly left the door.
Everyone in the private room looked at each other, unwilling to take on this responsibility, and they all left one after another.
Abbie gritted her teeth and struggled to get up, but no matter how many times she tried, it was in vain.
Time passed by minute by minute, and the assistant still hadn’t arrived.
As the blood flowed more and more, the stomach suddenly began to ache in waves, and it became increasingly intense and frequent.
Not good.
She was about to give birth!
Her whole body felt as if it had been torn into pieces, and intense pain engulfed and invaded her.
Abbie panicked and quickly pulled out her phone from her pocket, dialing 911.
She spoke intermittently, taking almost one or two minutes to clearly state the address.
I don’t know how long it had been, but her consciousness became increasingly blurred, and finally she heard the sound of an ambulance.

On the other side, while Vincent was renting the first floor of the hospital, he accidentally overheard the gossiping of the duty nurse.
“Did you hear? Today a pregnant woman had a close call. She was about to give birth when she got hit by a falling chandelier. Her whole body was covered in blood. It was really tragic.”
I don’t know how her husband managed it. The pregnant woman didn’t take good care of herself, luckily she was fortunate enough to successfully give birth to the child. However, even after the child was born, her husband didn’t come to see the baby. It’s really pitiful!
The nurses chattered away, discussing the pregnant woman, but Vincent couldn’t help but think of Abbie for some reason.
Thinking of her desperate eyes lying in a pile of broken glass before he left, his heart tightened suddenly, and he quickly took out his phone and dialed a
call to his assistant.
“How is Abbie doing?”
“Mr. Smith, Mrs. Smith she…”
Before the assistant could answer, suddenly came the voice of Liana from behind.
“Vincent, I was in so much pain!”
Her voice trembled, fragile to the extreme. Vincent’s heart skipped a beat, so he had no choice but to hang up the phone and rush over.
The assistant’s words were on the tip of their tongue, but they didn’t have the opportunity to say them.
Abbie woke up the next day.
The nurse smiled and brought the child over. At the moment she saw the child, she froze, with a mix of emotions in her heart.
That night, Vincent rejected her, saying that if she wanted to have a child, she should go and have one with someone else.
She was extremely sad, drinking glass after glass in the bar, getting drunk and unconscious. She randomly grabbed a man in the bar and started kissing him.
The bar lights were dim, and she was drunk at the time, so she didn’t see the man’s face clearly.

Seeing the child’s rosy and tender appearance now, I instantly felt relieved.
That man must have been good–looking, otherwise how could he have produced such an adorable baby?
Abbie cautiously extended her finger and touched the baby’s soft little hand.
The moment when two fingers touched, a hint of sourness surged through her nose, and tears couldn’t help but fall.
I don’t know if it was the joy of the child’s birth or the happiness that she could start a new life again.
“Baby, thank you for coming, bringing me freedom.”
She pressed her cheek against the child’s cheek and fell into a deep sleep.
Abbie stayed in the hospital for a week, recuperating and recovering her health.
On the day she left the hospital with the child, she received a message from Vincent.
“Liana was in a bad mood, so I took her on a trip abroad for a while to relax.”
Abbie remained calm and replied with just two words: “Okay.”
He was not at home, which was just as well and saved her the trouble of explaining.
After returning home, she placed the signed divorce agreement on the table, where he would see it as soon as he came back. Then, she held the child and carried the luggage that had been prepared in advance, rushing to the airport.
When Abbie arrived at the airport, she unexpectedly saw the figures of Liana and Vincent.
They were also waiting for the flight.
Abbie hurriedly held the child, turned around and dodged, getting lost in the crowd.
Suddenly, Vincent seemed to have a feeling and instinctively looked in the direction she was leaving.
Did he just see Abbie?
As soon as this idea came up, he instantly extinguished it.
How is it possible? How could she suddenly appear at the airport at this time?
Although he felt it was impossible, his heart inexplicably raced. In a panic, he sent her another message.
“Abbie, what gift did you want? I brought it for you.”
When Abbie saw this message, she had already boarded the plane.
She curved her lips and replied coldly, “No need.”
The plane took off immediately, and the flight attendant beside was already urging passengers to turn off their phones. Abbie held her child tightly and whispered, “Wait, let me send one last message.”
She took out her production surgery form from her bag and took a photo.
Then, I sent this photo to five people.
Ricardo, Mila, Jagger, Cindy.
Finally, it was Vincent.
Child, I have already given birth to you. This marriage is over. Don’t come looking for me. I don’t want to see any of you ever again.
The moment the message was successfully sent, she blocked and deleted all the contacts of everyone.
The plane took off and left the ground, and she felt relieved in her heart.
From now on, she had no more connection with Vincent, nor was it possible anymore.
