Chapter 17
Liora raised an eyebrow, unsure of what Nathan was scheming in hist
mind.
Half an hour later, the two of them walked into a high–end shopping mall.
Nathan saw Greg catching up through the reflective glass, a mischievous smile playing on his lips as he led Liora towards the lingerie store on the third floor.
When Nathan entered the store, he carefully picked out several sexy lingerie pieces for Liora.
Liora lowered her head, her ears turning slightly red. “You did that on purpose, didn’t you?”
Nathan raised an eyebrow, a hint of mischief in his amber eyes as he leaned down to kiss Liora’s lips, answering her words with actions.
Greg’s face darkened as he clenched his fists and watched the two of them kissing.
He saw Nathan reaching for the skimpy lingerie fabric, couldn’t hold back anymore, walked up to them and grabbed Liora’s hand: “Enough! Liora, do you really want to be with this kind of man who only thinks about the lower half?”
Liora shook off Greg’s hand and sneered, “Did I hear you correctly? You’re saying Nathan is a bad guy?”
With that, she gave a light chuckle and said, “Even if Nathan treats me badly, can he compare to what you did to me in the past?”

Two sentences, Greg was instantly speechless.
He wanted to argue back, but couldn’t find any reason. He could only say in a low voice, “I know I was wrong at that time, but you can’t blame me
for it.”
“I said I can explain, I will compensate you for anything you want, I know you can’t just let go of me so quickly.”
Liora stared at him, her expression neutral. “You are still so confident, thinking that just because I used to like you without reservation, you believe that I cannot live without you.”
The two of them argued with each other, and there were many people. watching around.
Liora looked at him, her eyes calm and terrifying: “Greg, I was a person. When you hurt me time and time again, even if I loved you at first, your actions would deplete my love for
you.”
Greg’s heart sank a little. He wanted to keep Liora, but it seemed like there was something stuck in his throat, and he couldn’t say a word for a long time.
Liora lowered her gaze and spoke with a colder tone, “Once I found out that you lied to me about the loan for Talia, I was done with you.
“When Talia beat me until blood was flowing down my face, and you reached out to stop me and scolded me, I no longer had any hope for you.
“In the abandoned factory, you chose Talia and left me alone, and I started. to hate you.”
“It wasn’t until I met Nathan that I suddenly let go of everything.”
“The willows are dark, the flowers are bright, and now I really don’t love

you anymore. I only love Nathan.”
Liora’s words, like a sharp blade stabbing into Greg’s heart, hurt him so much that he almost couldn’t breathe. “I don’t believe it! You’re just saying these things out of anger. You chose Nathan because you were upset,” he
said.
Liora shook her head and linked her arm with Nathan’s. “You can keep following, I will let you know that the one I love now is Nathan.”
With that, Liora continued shopping. They went to the bridal shop to try on wedding dresses.
Liora looked at Nathan, who had changed into a black suit, and exclaimed, “Wow, I ate really well,
“The appearance of a man, the glory of a wife! Nathan, let me take a picture of you! I want to post it on Instagram, let my sisters see my man!”
Approaching noon, the two of them were having lunch at a Western restaurant. Liora handed a piece of sliced steak to Nathan’s mouth and said, “If you eat my food, you’re mine.”
Halfway through, a bold girl approached Nathan and asked for his WhatsApp.
Nathan coldly waved his hand in refusal.
After the girl left sadly, Liora pouted and coquettishly said, “I want to carve words on you, saying ‘Liora exclusive‘.”
Greg looked on from a distance, feeling a heavy pressure in his chest that made him panic.
The cigarette burning at his fingertips reached the end, scorching hist fingers, but he still didn’t feel the pain.
Chapter 17
When he was dating Liora in the past, she was also like this to him.
She used to show her innocent, delicate, and jealous side in front of him. At that time, he always felt that Liora was pretending.
Now, seeing Liora act this way towards another man, his heart felt like it was being twisted and suffocated.
Before leaving the mall, Liora waved to Greg on purpose and smiled. brightly, “See, I really love Nathan. I love him more now than I loved you back then.”
Greg’s face darkened as if water could drip from it: “I won’t give up. I will prove that I am more suitable for you than him.”
In order to prove himself, Greg found out that Liora was going to Central Valley to help the farmers in a few days. He insisted on going with her no matter what.
On the first day in Central Valley, Greg learned that Liora wanted to study the ‘Celestelle Blue Rose‘ on the cliff.
Only one household in the entire village managed to pick the Celestelle Blue Rose. Greg immediately found that household and offered a generous price: “1.5 million, you give me the Celestelle Blue Rose.”
The honest and simple middle–aged farmer was taken aback.
He pointed to the black car that had just parked at the door, and the driver’s side window happened to reveal Nathan’s profile. He said helplessly, “Mr. Collen contacted me first.”
