“Since you know the person who saved Seb’s life, you should choose some gifts to send to her first.” Leopold coughed lightly and looked at Jacob. His eyes were deep and unfathomable. “In a few days, I’ll take Seb to visit her personally.”
Jacob broke out in a cold sweat under his gaze, not daring to look directly into Leopold’s eyes. He quickly agreed, “Yes,
boss!”
It wouldn’t be hard to find Miss Miller. After all, he had connections with the Walker family and she would have to show him some respect.
Jacob had a wishful thinking, unaware that Felicity didn’t want to see anyone from the Walker family at the moment. After all, it was too unlucky.
Unfortunately, the Walker family kept pushing forward.
Just like now, after sending off the little boy, Felicity was about to ride her bike back when a familiar voice suddenly came
from beside her.
“Why are you
here?”
The speaker was her foster mother, Arabella Sterling, her tone full of disgust. She didn’t even bother to call Felicity by
name.
Felicity glanced over and saw a group of people standing not far away.
In addition to her foster father Noah Walker, there were also relatives from the Sterling family. Ella Walker, who had been brought back, was also there, standing like a star surrounded by the moon.
Ella was supporting an elderly lady, whispering something with a chuckle.
The old lady seemed very pleased with Ella and gently patted Ella’s hand. She was elegant and composed, giving off an aura of peace.
Arabella obviously didn’t want the people behind her to see Felicity and blocked Felicity with her body. “I’m asking you. Why are you here?”
Arabella tried to hide her irritation, but her tone betrayed her.
“Lissy, we made it very clear to you yesterday. Your biological parents are in the countryside. Why are you Caesar Hotel to make a scene instead of looking for them?”
She thought Felicity had followed them, waiting outside secretly for them to come out.
“If you think two thousand dollars is not enough, I can transfer you some more money.”
Owing us to
Arabella suppressed her disdain and looked at Felicity. Felicity was wearing the most ordinary T–shirt and jeans without any makeup, and her backpack was loose.
Was this how she looked after leaving the Walker family?
Was she poor?
Arabella took a deep breath and lowered her voice, “I know you don’t want to go back to the countryside. After all, you’re used to a rich life, but we have no obligation to support you. I have a card here with ten thousand dollars on it. Take it and leave quickly.”
Seeing that Arabella was anxious to clear up their relationship, Felicity rested one hand on the handlebar of the bike, looked up lazily, and was about to speak.
“Arabella, who is this? Do you know her?” The silver–haired old lady walked over, her eyes full of scrutiny and confusion.

Arabella quickly said, “She’s a distant relative. we nappened to run into each other. I thought she was young and wanted to help.”
“Hmm.” The old lady nodded approvingly and turned to Ella. “Ella is as kindhearted as you.”
Ella looked at her with innocent eyes, wanting to say something but holding back. In the end, she only lowered her eyes gently. “My mother often teaches me to help others. It’s the essence of being a doctor.”
“Great.” The old lady approved even more, pointing at Noah. “You’re lucky to have a good daughter.”
Noah had been wondering whether or not to reveal Felicity’s identity.
Now, after hearing the old lady’s words, Noah didn’t hesitate any longer. “Ella leans well from good examples.”
She was unlike that fake one who didn’t know how to read people’s faces.
Noah walked over and said to Arabella, “I’ll handle this. You go ahead. You don’t have to worry so much about the relatives.”
Arabella looked at Felicity and sighed. “Then persuade Lissy. She’s having a hard time.”
مر
She appeared sympathetic on the surface, but her eyes indicated that this was not where Felicity belonged and Felicity should leave right now.
