When he said those words, everyone thought he had lost his mind, including Lucy.
Lucy said, “You don’t need to pretend your affection anymore. Cora is gone. She won’t see any of this.”

But Asher wasn’t joking or acting. He quickly called a lawyer and took care of everything.

Hearing Lucy’s words, I felt a sharp pang in my heart.
