Chapter 3
Reed had just returned from abroad and was busy from dawn till dusk..
So we’d met fewer than three times.
I didn’t know why he’d fallen for me in my previous life, but judging by how he remained unaffected by the drugged porridge, things were already developing differently.

Could he possibly be reborn like me?
Just as this theory flashed through my mind, Reed was already on the edge of climax.
He was fighting his urges so intensely that veins stood out on his forehead, his eyes blood–red with desire, yet somehow he maintained a thread of clarity.
Through gritted teeth, he said: “Mila, actually I’m…”
At that moment, I became certain he was also reborn.
Fine. This would make my revenge easier.
So before he could finish, I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him passionately.
Reed abandoned his last resistance and responded with wild, dominating passion.
Again and again…
The final time was against the bathroom wall.
He supported my hips while I wrapped my legs around his waist.
He teasingly refused to enter.
Frustrated, I nipped at his prominent Adam’s apple.
“Hurry up…”
Reed chuckled deeply, his hand caressing the back of my head: “Call me again!”
“Gabriel…”
“Wrong!”
Reed punished me with a sudden thrust.
“Ah…”
I trembled in his arms.
“Call me ‘baby.“”
Reed nibbled on my earlobe, his voice hoarse and magnetic as he seductively whispered.
I bit my hand to muffle my cries; “Baby, baby, baby…”
I called out three times in succession, and Reed seemed energized, completely losing control.

Chapter 3
He manipulated my body until I felt like a fish gasping for water, my mouth open, desperately trying to breathe.
When I awoke, the sky was still dark, but Reed was no longer beside me.
I put on my nightgown and quietly went out.
As expected, the study light was on.
I pressed against the wall, peering through the door crack.
Reed was lounging lazily on the sofa in the rest area, while Gabriel stood before him, furious:
“Reed, how could you go to the wrong room?”
“Don’t you know Mila is the woman I love most?”
Reed crossed his legs and bit on a cigarette, cocking his head to look at him:
“I really had no idea!”
“Weren’t you just coming from Penelope’s bedroom downstairs?”
Gabriel exploded: “That was… she seduced me!”
Reed laughed coldly: “What’s done is done. What do you want now?”
Gabriel eyed Reed’s expression, changing his approach:
“It’s just a woman, I don’t really care. If you like her, Reed, I can let you take my place with her for a while.”
“But you know, I’ve been managing the Bay Area project, and as soon as you returned, Grandfather gave it to you. I’d really like to continue handling it!”
Reed smiled as if he’d anticipated this condition:
“Fine, I’ll tell Grandfather tomorrow that you should continue managing the project!”
“But remember, you’re responsible for any profit or loss!”
Gabriel immediately agreed with delight.
Seeing him rise, I quickly returned to the bedroom and lay down, pretending to be asleep.
