Chapter 28
Aria’s POV
“Truth or dare? What are you live?” Jace scoffed
“Come on, it’ll be fun! We’ve never played before, and I’m sure Aria’s curious to learn more about Grayson, Delilah said, giving me a pleading look
I hesitated. Truth is I did want to know more about Grayson. But from past Lexperience, I also knew he had serious boundary issues. I wasn’t sure if my questions would upset him.
Yet to my surprise Grayson agreed first. “I’ve got nothing else to do. Sure.”
He sat down on the couch, and I quickly took a seat next to Delilah, Jace still looked pissed as hell but he joined us eventually.
A maid brought over a beer bottle while Delilah explained the rules: “I’ll spin the bottle. Whoever it points to has to choose truth or dare
We all went to high school. Just spin it already,” Jace grumbled.
“Okay, here we go.”
She spun the bottle.
It twirled around several times before landing
on Grayson
“Truth,” he said.
“Alright! I’m going to ask something juicy,” Delilah giggled. Then she fired away with her question. “Tell us. Have you ever had sex with more than one person in a day?”
I nearly choked on my lemonade.
Seriously, Delilah? That’s what you want to ask your big brother???
He answered calmly, without hesitation, even giving her a pick–a–better–question–next–time look.
“Wow, Aria, you still want to hang out with this playboy?” she wrinkled her nose.
I gave an awkward smile.
I knew Grayson had a past. It would be weird if he didn’t. I was just curious about how much more was out there that I didn’t know of.
Then Grayson spun the bottle. This time it pointed to me.
“Ask her about her most recent orgasm!” Delilah blurted out.
I almost fainted. God, Delilah! Why does everything have to be about sex with you?!
Though I did know the answer to that question…..
…I was sitting on a high table, legs spread wide apart for him. My pussy in–full display…His long fingers moved quickly in and out of me.. His smoky gray eyes locked onto mine like fire. It made me cum so hard and so easily…
“No, yo
you can’t ask the question. It’s Alpha Grayson’s turn,” I cleared my throat and glanced at Grayson.
He was staring at me too, his eyes a bit dark.
I wondered if he was also thinking about the answer to that question.
“Alright, Grayson, I’m giving you the right to ask the question. Make it a good one” Delilah demanded.

Chapter 28
“Why did you break up with your ex?” he asked.
Oh now that’s a good question.
“Because he dumped me for a rich girl. He said I couldn’t help him in his career and that no man would want to get stuck with someone as broke as me.
Jace’s face turned ugly. He glared like he wanted to kill me
“Wow, what a jerk,” Delilah gasped. “I can’t believe a guy would say that,”
“Actually, there are more men like this than you can imagine. Some might even be around us.”
I hoped she’d catch on, but she didn’t. She simply shook her head.
Awful. I bet he’s a spineless wuss. Please tell me you’re not still talking to him anymore.”
“ENOUGH!” Jace snarled, cutting us off. “God how long are you going to keep talking about this? It’s one question at a time,”
Delilah pouted. I spun the bottle again, and this time it pointed to Jace.
I’m giving the right to ask the question to Delilah,” I said. I knew Delilah had her own issues she wanted to solve with Jace, and I was happy to give her the opportunity.
“No, you can’t do that,” Jace said darkly.
“Uh, what does the judge say?”
”
“The judge approves,” Delilah said decisively, then stared at her husband, “Jace, babe, when on earth are you going to introduce me to your parents?”
What? I blinked in surprise,
They’re already married, but she hasn’t met Jace’s parents?
Jace’s face tightened, irritated. “Are you kidding me? That’s what you want to ask in truth or dare?”
“Well, because every time I ask you, you keep dodging. I just don’t get it. Do they even know about me?”
His voice was stiff, “Of course, habe. They’re just very busy, so they haven’t had time.”
You said they spend most of the year traveling in Europe. Now that we’re in Europe, let’s find a time to meet them. What do you say?”
I let out a loud laugh.
Sorry but I just couldn’t help it.
Of all people, I know that was a big ass lie!
His parents traveling in Europe! Please. His mom works as a cashier at a supermarket, and his dad is an alcoholic living on welfare. His only sister ran away at 15, and someone later saw her in the red–light district.
How could a family like that afford to travel in Europe?
“Something wrong. Aria? Why you laughed?” Delilah gave me a suspicious look. Jace stared at me deathly.
“Oh, sorry, I… I choked. “I quickly took a big sip of lemonade.
“Change the question, or I’m not playing anymore. Jace warned.
“Alright,” Delilah pouted. “Then how about this…who was your first love? Why did you fall for her?”
My body stiffened.
This question might sound harmless. But Jace claimed that his first love was me.

Chapter 28
“Well, my first love.”
Jace dragged out the words and glanced at me. I quickly looked away, Damn it, Jace, stop looking!
“My first love was a sweet and innocent girl. We supported each other through tough times in the big city. We even talked about getting a dog together and moving to a suburban house with a lawn and a doggy door. Our favorite thing to do was hunt for vinyl records at fleat markets on weekends.””
My heart skipped a beat.
God those good times. I can’t believe we really had those times.
I also can’t believe he still remembers.
“She sounds great. Seems like you two have a lot of history.” Delilah sounded jealous.
Jace shrugged, “But then she turned into a gold–digging bitch. Left me for a richer guy. I don’t regret it at all.”
I clenched my glass tightly. You jerk,
Delilah giggled and leaned over to kiss him. “Of course you don’t regret it, because now you’re with me.”
Jace finally got through that question. He spun the bottle again, and this time it pointed to Grayson.
“I don’t have any questions,” Jace said.
“I’m sure Aria 1
has something she wants to ask,” Delilah snickered
I did, but I was hesitant. I wasn’t sure which one was appropriate.
After a long pause, I finally chose my question:
“Do you still talk to your ex?”
It was a bit of a loaded question.
Because I knew he had hookups. I just didn’t know if he had ever been in a serious relationship, especially since he seemed to have commitment issues.
He glanced at me lightly. “Yes.”
My heart sank. I hoped he’d say more, like what kind of person she was, why they were together, and why they broke up.
But he didn’t seem interested in elaborating.
“On how’s Isla doing by the way?” Delilah asked.
Isla? Is that his ex?
“Good. She’s been busy with her gallery,” he said.
“Oh, that’s wonderful. Next time she comes to Redstone, I’d love to visit her new exhibition,” Delilah said cheerfully.
“I let her know.”
I felt like I had swallowed a lemon.
Grayson spun the boule again. This time, it pointed to Jace.
“Dare.“Jace said quickly. He probably didn’t want to give Delilah another chance to interrogate him.
-Oh, you think you can get away that easily?” Delilals giggled, then commanded, “Show us a photo of your ex–girlfriend.”
1 froze, and so did Jace. Even Grayson frowned.
“No way.” Jace quickly refused.

Truth or dare doesn’t work like that. You can’t refuse.”
“I don’t have any photos of her on my phone
Then look her up on social media. You remember her name right?”
1 clenched my skirt nervously. Jace suddenly stood up and glared at his wife, “God! Why the hell are you always so obsessed with the past?”
“It’s just a harmless little joke. Why are you so angry?” she stood up too. “What are you afraid to show me? Are you still protecting her?
Now I have to know who she is!”
