Chapter 3
I went to school to print my study abroad application materials. When I returned to my small rented place, I was so dizzy that I simply collapsed into bed and fell asleep.
When I woke up, Evren was sitting beside me.[]
The curtains swayed gently in the breeze, golden light streaming into the room, everything so quiet it felt like an unreal dream.[]
He reached out to feel my forehead. On the table were freshly opened cold medicine and

“Why didn’t you tell me you had a fever?” His voice was low, with a hint of reproach, “Are you still feeling bad?“[]
It must be a dream.[]
But for some reason, tears began falling from my eyes one by one.[]
Evren was stunned.[]
After a long while, his expression softened, and even his voice became as gentle as an illusion: “Why
are
you crying?”
I cried even harder, sobbing as I called his name over and over.[]

Friends had said I was being too humble-
What girl degrades herself like this?
But when they heard it was Evren, they all fell silent.]
After all, this was Evren.[]
There were countless girls who liked him, prettier ones, more excellent ones–how could there be few? And what was I? What did I even count as by his side?
But I just couldn’t let go.]
My personality had always been too stubborn.[]
Parents, friends, teachers all said I was the type who wouldn’t turn back even after hitting a wall.
The Evren in my dream seemed to be suppressing his emotions, his aura somewhat heavy.[]
But he still leaned down and held me.[]
His voice was as light as wind: “If you’re tired, just get some good sleep. It’s okay, rest well.“]
I gradually fell asleep in his embrace and gentle reassurance.
Before sleeping, I groggily asked:[]

“Evren… did you ever, even for a second… like me?“]
He didn’t answer.]
But I felt something lightly flick my forehead.]
The touch was cool.
His tone was even cooler than the touch:[]
“That’s punishment for being an idiot.“]
