Chapter51
After she posted this message, the lively group suddenly quieted down.
For a while.
Sylvia Orozco slowly typed out a question mark.
Three question marks followed.
Sylvia: So, in this group of five people, only Jessica knows anything besides the people involved, right?
Paulette wiped her forehead in embarrassment and said in a voice message, “Aren’t you guys all busy? Just focus on studying for now. I’ll definitely start from the beginning next time we meet, okay?”
A few people kept yelling, making her have to say the result first.
Paulette: “The result is, I actually ended up marrying a really great guy.”
There was no response in the group yet, when a magnetic voice sounded above my head: “I didn’t realize that I was a good person in Ms. Davenport’s heart.”
Paulette quickly put away her phone and stood up.
I didn’t pay attention for a moment and almost bumped into Jeremiah’s forehead. Luckily, he reacted quickly, raising his hand to block in front of Paulette’s head, preventing this unnecessary accident.
A low chuckle spilled from his lips, Paulette looked into his eyes and felt

“Laugh… What’s so funny,” she muttered, “It’s rude to eavesdrop on other people’s conversations.”
Jeremiah said, “Um, apologize to Ms. Davenport.”
Besides being unserious, this man is really good at talking.
Paulette blushed and couldn’t look into his eyes anymore, feeling like she was being sucked into a whirlpool at any moment.
“Did you finish talking?”
“Almost.”
Jeremiah stopped teasing her, grabbed the suitcase next to him, and naturally held Paulette’s hand. “Let’s go, the driver is waiting for us
downstairs.”
Paulette stood there, half a step behind, staring at their clasped hands.
My heart was beating so fast.
The temperature on his face just went down and then went back up again.
Jeremiah didn’t let go of her until they got on the car.
Paulette felt like she was becoming more and more weird.
Every time she was with Jeremiah, she wouldn’t think of Nelson and would have a lot of feelings she hadn’t had before… Does that mean he might be the right person?
No matter what, Paulette had to leave.

The plane soared through the clouds, flew over 25,000 kilometers high, and after more than two hours of flying, landed at Crireton International Airport.
Jeremiah’s other assistant, Collin Juarez, was the one who came to pick us up at the airport. He was much more outgoing than Bryson, chatting with Paulette while putting the luggage in the trunk.
“Ms. Davenport, Creighton is much colder than Fromond. Remember to dress warmly, in case you catch a cold, Mr. Swanson will be worried.”
Paulette looked at the man standing not far away answering the phone, and said with a smile, “Okay, thanks.”
“Don’t mention it!”
Collin was flattered and even took out his business card, “Just let me know if you need anything in the future, I’ll be at your and Mr. Swanson’s service 24/7!“!
Paulette took the business card and before she could say anything,
Jeremiah finished his call and glanced at Collin, saying, “Tone it down a bit.”
Collin: “Okay, Mr. Swanson.”
Collin solemnly opened the back seat door, showing respect and politeness.
Paulette couldn’t help but chuckle and quietly sat down.

This year, there has been a heavy snowfall in Crireton. The world outside the window is all white, covered in silver. Pedestrians passing by are hurrying, bundled up from head to toe.
Paulette opened a window a bit, and cold air rushed in immediately.
She laughed coldly, opening her mouth, and white gas came out.
Jeremiah just smiled and watched, without bothering her.
It was rush hour around five o’clock, and we got stuck in traffic not long after we left. What was supposed to be a one–hour drive ended up taking nearly two hours. Jeremiah was worried that Paulette, who had just arrived, wouldn’t be comfortable, so he ordered takeout and we went
home.
However, his worries were obviously unnecessary.
Paulette had never been to Crireton before, everything was new to her.
After dinner, I put on my down jacket and went to the yard. I left a trail of footprints in the thick snow and even built a little snowman.
When Jeremiah came out with a scarf, she was holding a bunch of snow in her hands, wearing a white down jacket and hat, looking very festive, her nose was red from the cold.
“Jeremiah! Come here quick!”
Paulette had a big smile on her face, she was genuinely happy.
She threw the snow in her hand at the man at the door, and it landed right
at his feet.
