She wanted tea, she sure wouldn’t hold back.
Tehila froze for a second and regretted saying anything. She
lowered her head, feeling wronged.
Brunell looked at Seryna with a meaningful look. Where did
she get the nerve to lecture Tila?
Rashad looked a bit annoyed, Brunell was here, and Tila was
really being thoughtless.
Sera wanted to help him find medicine, but all they knew was
to eat, drink, and have fun.
But Jeremiah just shot Seryna a cold look, warning her not to
say anything stupid.
Brunell glanced at Seryna thoughtfully.
Tehila spoke with red eyes, “Sera, sorry, I didn’t know you
would find out about these things. As long as Dad could live a
bit longer, unregulated product didn’t matter, right?”
“Tehila, I don’t blame you for looking down on Dr. Sampson. But
please don’t bark for no reason, this was definitely the real deal,

and there was a patent application for it.”
Seryna’s two sentences made Tehila feel so ashamed.
She leaned aggrievedly against Jennett. Jennett was upset with
Seryna, but since Brunell was here, she couldn’t really say
anything.
Brunell was the top family in Calford, they couldn’t afford to
mess with them.
After Seryna helped Rashad put on the ointment, she smiled
sweetly, “Dad, there’s more ointment. It was sent from
somewhere else. Put it on tonight, and it won’t hurt when you
sleep.”
Rashad was really happy. He saw his daughter’s eyes and brows
full of a sweet smile, and he liked this daughter even more.
There was a slight burning feeling on his knee, but the pain was
much better.
He was a little surprised, “No wonder it’s Dr. Sampson’s
medicine. Sera, it didn’t hurt as much as before.”
Seryna smiled, “Dad, just wipe it three times, but you really need
to watch what you eat and avoid those foods.”
“Good!” Rashad looked at Brunell.

“Brunell, dinner’s ready, let’s eat.“‘”
Brunell glanced at Seryna. She stood to the side with her head
down, calm and poised, not pretending, not arrogant, just really
composed.
He stood up with a smile, “Okay!”

Tehila noticed the way Brunell looked at Seryna and had a bad
feeling.
Tonight we talked about the engagement party. We had to
make a deal. It would be best if she could marry into the Fortin
family this year. She had other plans.
Everyone went to the restaurant. Jeremiah somehow ended up
next to Seryna and quietly warned her, “Seryna, don’t say
anything later. We have to settle Brunell and Tila’s engagement
dinner tonight.”
Seryna: “Fine! I won’t talk.”
Seryna definitely wanted the jerk and the bitch to be stuck
together. Brunell was really something, the heir of the Fortin
family, super capable and rich. She had nothing now, just a
small company she was working on. She couldn’t beat Brunell
and the Willard family, so of course she wouldn’t ruin Brunell
and Tehila’s marriage.

But whether Tehila could marry Brunell depended on her
charm, since Brunell didn’t have only Tehila as a woman.
Jeremiah looked at her being so obedient. If she always stayed
like this, he could be nice to her too. She was his sister after all,
and she was really pretty. She just didn’t have any education. If
she married an old man, she could still bring the Willard family
a pretty good business deal.
Jeremiah already had an idea in mind.
The Willard family’s restaurant was big.
The decoration was luxurious and grand.
After everyone sat down, Seryna deliberately took the last seat.
She just showed up to let Tehila show off her acting skills.
After she sat down, she sent a message out.
Luciano, are you all set?
Luciano: Sis, I’m ready.
Seryna saw everyone using forks, so she picked up a fork and
ate too.
Tehila looked at Seryna. She wanted to pick on her table

manners, but Seryna did really well, very proper, and her vibe
was just right. In just a month, she seemed like a whole new
person.
Tehila was pissed off and just kept giving Brunell more food.
Brunell really liked Tehila and was very gentle with her.
“Bruno, the black truffles you like were the ones I picked out
myself this morning.”
Brunell gave her a gentle smile and said, “Tila was really
thoughtful.”
Rashad saw them chatting happily and felt happy too, the
Fortin family was a big tree, and the Willard family would soon
be able to join in.
Everyone was chatting, only Seryna was eating gracefully.
The Willard family just automatically ignored her.
This was exactly the result Seryna wanted, she really hated
being disturbed while eating.
She finished eating and elegantly wiped the corner of her
mouth.
