Kael flew into rage, kicking Sera’s belly. “You worthless bitch! If you hadn’t seduced me during work every day, how would I be confused enough to abandon Selene for trash like you?”

I looked down at the writhing Sera; “That recording is already with the police.”
I walked to Sera, looking down at her: “As for you, the evidence of your deliberate hit and run is also submitted to police.” My voice was soft but each word sharp as a blade: “Scumbag and bitch couple should go down together, shouldn’t they?”
Just then, shrill sirens sounded outside Moonhaven. Kael seemed to suddenly realize something. He stared wide–eyed, disbelieving “Selene, this shouldn’t be my ending. My life should be healthy, wealthy, and happily mated.”
I scoffed, voice light but devastating: “Originally you could have had that perfect life. But you forgot the Moon Goddess never the heartless and faithless.”
Kael’s eyes went hollow, like he’d lost his soul. Suddenly remembering something, he muttered: “No, my body is still healthy. meaning the moon stone wishes still work, still work…” He repeated this manically, eyes growing crazed.
