Ryan’s face was pale, but his eyes were frighteningly red.]]
“Don’t think I’m as sick as you! Even if it wasn’t Stella who got hurt. I’d still be disgusted by what you did!“[]
“Claire, you’re completely insane!” He suddenly exploded: You’re absolutely nuts!]]
Claire burst into maniacal laughter.]
“I am insane! But what about you? Dare to say you haven’t fallen for Stella?!“]]
“Admit it, Ryan–you’re already head over heels for her.“]]
“Shut up!” Ryan grabbed her throat and slammed her against the wall. “I was blind to fall for trash like you!“[]
“And I hurt Stella because of you!“]]
“Divorce! We’re getting divorced tomorrow!“]]
Claire couldn’t breathe, nearly suffocating as she clawed at his hands.[]
Only when she was about to pass out did Ryan disgustedly shove her away.
Like tossing out garbage.[]
His voice was bone–chillingly cold: “Get out!“]]
Claire lost all her strength, leaving with bitter words: “You’ll regret this!“[]
The messy villa fell into dead silence.]
Ryan couldn’t stop remembering all those times with Stella by his side.[]
They’d traveled together, tried extreme sports together, done so many fun things together.[]
At the beach, on mountaintops, in the polar regions… during sunrise and sunset,[]

Stella had confessed to him thousands of times: “Ryan, we’ll be together forever!“[]
“Admit it, Ryan–you’re already head over heels for her.“[]
Claire’s words haunted him like a curse, lingering in his ears.[]
He wasn’t oblivious to his special feelings for Stella.]
When Stella was sick, he’d worry and care for her all night, but always fled before she woke up []
Every time Stella confessed, those uncontrolled flutters and joy were so obvious.[]
But he kept denying and burying those feelings deep in his heart []
Only because Stella was the one his brother liked–he didn’t dare to like her.]
Chapter 15
Ryan suddenly downed a bottle of liquor, breaking down in tears and laughter.[]
“Stella…”
He returned to the villa in the south district, shutting himself away in the villa where Stella used to live.[]
Nothing but drinking and more drinking, wallowing in self–destruction until even his assistant couldn’t stand it anymore.[]
“Mr. Mitchell, please pull yourself together! The company needs you!“[]
Ryan laughed bitterly: “Stella’s gone–what’s the point of the company?“]
For the next month, he recklessly drank and smoked, doing everything possible to numb the pain.]
Until he drank himself into a bleeding ulcer and ended up in the hospital.]]
Old Mrs. Mitchell finally couldn’t take it anymore and broke down crying while holding her son.[]
“Ryan, stop destroying yourself like this! Jake is gone–do you want to make me lose another son?“]
“Stella didn’t disappear. She went home.“]]
